*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

1st 14 days, can grab any phone promo that's active at the time you purchase phone.

Can still add a new line phone deal after the 14 days, but the phone deal had to be active the date your line was activated, AND still be active at the time of phone purchase.

For instance, I grabbed the last Free line on us promo on June 26th, but didn't need to get another phone at that time. Today that June free line could still get in on the bill credits Sammy s10/20/Note 10/20 BOGO deal. . .as that promo started June 5th, and is still active today.

But most phone promos don't go for 3+ months straight, so count on somewhere closer to the 14 days or a little bit longer.
Phone promos have 90 days restriction but this line promo doesn't. Do you know if it is base on date of line activation or phone activation? I have to wait couple more days to clear 90 days for phone promo.

Thank you very much.

Btw, do you know if the $250 rebate can be combined with the device deals?

Thanks again.

A wiki post on a slickdeals thread likely won't hold much weight if you're going to use that as info/proof any issues you're having with T-Mobile. But here's the previous free line offer thread from late June 2020:

https://slickdeals.net/f/14153606-t-mobile-offer-existing-single-line-or-new-customers-get-a-3rd-line-free-via-monthly-bill-credits

In the wiki:

What are some of the stipulations with this?
As long as you are on a plan that qualifies and have at least two paid voice lines, this is what one SD user BongH was told by a T-Mobile rep: "There is no trade, no additional lines needed, you just add the line. You wouldn't be able to cancel any lines for one year after adding that line and then after that year, you have to have two paid lines outside the free line to keep the promo going."
Thank you!

How long do I have to buy the phones?
There's some real answer like as long as the phone promotion runs or maybe something like while the phone promotion overlaps with the new line promotion. Both are likely wrong but it's something like that ... I recall someone posted the answer to this question in one of these t-mobile threads. That being said, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine if you buy the phone in the next couple of days (possibly even a week from now but don't push it).

I see needgeech answered the question above. His/her answer is much better than mines! Smilie

Where b is the note 20 BOGO deal? Only one I see required activating 2 new lines.

So it appears we can use Google Voice numbers to port in based off others? A few bucks less than going the eBay route

If you ordered a phone with the new line, does the line show up immediately or only after the new phone is shipped out?

I ordered the free line and a OnePlus 8 (50% off with a new line) at the same time a few hours ago but the line isn't showing in my account yet.

Some people are tossing that around on the $250 thread, but it's not supposed to as the $250 is for BYOD.

Might work in the type example I gave you where the phone promo that was active when I activated line is still active over 2 months later (i.e. after enough time to receive the $250 BYOD rebate).

I chatted with a rep and he said that they do not stack on top of previous free lines. I have two free lines from previous offers. Has any experienced this?

How long does it take you guys to get your new line activated?
T-force processed an order for me 12 hours ago, but im still waiting for it to be processed. T-force said they are backed up, and will take a few days. Is this happening to anyone else?

It's only 2 lines for new customers (as you need 2 lines to have 2 phones) for current customers it's just one new line. Which can be this free line.

2020 Samsung Buy 2 Promo 5
Promo Code: T287
Start Date: June 5, 2020

Purchase two new Galaxy Z Fold2 5G, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Samsung Galaxy Note20 5G, Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy S20 5G, Galaxy S20+ 5G, Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy Note10, Galaxy Note10+, Galaxy Note10+ 5G on T-Mobile's Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) and activate two new lines of service (1 new line for existing customers) to get up to $1,000 back via monthly bill credits over 24 months.

Looks like they're gonna run with this same promo for awhile longer. It started in June with just s10/20 Note 10. . .then added Note 20 when it came out. Now they've added Fold2 and Flip. . .

I still don't understand why there is no T&C posted on this free line offer. All the other T-Mobile promo comes with T&C listed on the website.

Literally, if some one doesn't need a new line but want to take advantage from this promo, can he just port out a line to ATT then add the free line and port back that ATT number to the free line? In this case he will pay one line less in the future bills. Nowhere says cancel a line is past 90 days is not qualified for the free line.
