*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I have the One plan and this is my 3rd free line, all added via chat through the app. I also have the Spring 19 3rd line free and the earlier 2020 line on us. I now have a total 8 voice lines and 2 tablet lines.

Good point, my bad. Such misinformation is just absolutely life shattering.

Want to save more, do as I did and not do it online - ask and they remove the fees. So to make it slick, do not add it online...you might be able to have the fee credited later for more effort, and thus more time wasted.

Anyone on Simple Choice plan added this free line? If yes, what's the included data plan? All my lines have 4GB but this one has 2.5GB.

I have searched and some people touch on it, but if I want to avoid paying the $20 fee, I can do it by myself online? I am just scared because it shows that I will have a $20 recurring fee and nothing about the free line. I have confirmed through t-force and my SOC that I am eligible.
Yes you can do it online. You avoid the $20 fee but will pay $10 for a sim card. And there's nothing to be scared about. It's not like there's a contract and you're on the hook for $20/month for years. Imagine the worst case scenario that you really aren't eligible ... just cancel the line; you'll know within a few days. That's definitely worth a trying to get a free line forever.

Copy/paste from a previous reply: If your SOC is one of the approved plans, just go add a line yourself. If your plan qualifies, it will be free. There's no special code that a rep would enter to make the line free ... they just add a line like you can do yourself. If you do do this, the line doesn't show up as free as you check out. The free line promo qualification shows up after that fact automatically (for me, it was when my sim card shipped and a phone number was assigned to the line).

edit: last free line offer in late June, I called and a rep added the line for me plus didn't charge me for the assistance fee (I used my own sim card). This time, I didn't want to deal with waiting online or on the phone so I just added the line myself and paid the $10 sim card fee.

I think it depends on how many total (paid + free) lines are allowed in your plan. So far, TMo had 5 free line promos. For example, if your plan allows up to 12 lines, and you already have 12 (paid + free), you can't add any more lines, paid or free.

I had no data on my newly added line. Options to add it online included only 6GB and 10GB for $15 and $30 extra. All the remaining lines have 4GB but this option was not even available. Had to contact support via chat and have them fix it. Took about 20 - 30 minutes but there were able to correct it.

Thanks.
I also had the same thing happened to me, just like you, I had "No Data" and same paid options - but calling them got me only 2.5GB.

Do you have 4GB now?

Yes, the rep made sure the new line matches the data cap on all the remaining 9 lines. He did mention during the chat that he had trouble reinstating 4GB "because it was a promo" (I think all of those who were on 2.5 were bumped to 4 few years ago) but "continued to work on it" and I guess whatever he did eventually worked.

For everyone on Amplified who Tforce denied. I just got one added in store. Go to a store, just tell them you want to add a line. Pay $30 BS fee, walk out. don't mention free line. System auto qualifies it a free line. You will get a text the next day.

Dear SDers, I need your help! I am on SC plan and just added a free line. Do you know if I would be qualified to get any samsung phones at a discounted price due to this added line? Thank you so much.
Yes this new free line qualify you for any phone promo they have currently running. Just make sure when you pick the promo phone they don't add another line and make sure they attach to your new promo free line. I just got off the phone with the rep where they added another line they had to fix by canceling it. Which now in my account shows I have a cancel line so I screwed again from any promo for 90 days becauze they screwed up again. Tmobile really need to retrain their customer care reps. Had to deal with them mistakes for the last 3 months since the June line on us promo. At least I got the free line finally activated and shows 2020 line on hs promo in my account. Had to talk to 5 customer care dealing with their imcompetence. Now the last rep said I can port in with this new line for the $250 rebate. Even though I have a cancel line now. Will see if that goes thru or more call with them.

Nice was thinking about doing this after seeing data points of people getting the promo despite being told multiple times its not eligible. What's your plan SOC?
