*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I was planning on getting the Note 20 BOGO using the free AAL, however, can't find the phone promo on TMo's offer page. Does this mean I'm out of luck - or is there a way to get the deal?

This is the second free line offer this year (first was in late June) but consider it a rare occurrence. I wouldn't count on them just giving away free lines with no other requirements (like adding a line to get a line).
Adding a line requirement would be okay as I actually need a 4th line. I'm about to sign up for 2 to get the 3rd free then hopefully later get in on another free line but like you said it's rare. So, instead of jumping on 50% off the Samsung A71 or OnePlus 8 with a 24 month req. maybe I should just take the $250 promo. Thoughts?

With 2020BYOD1 will i get $250 off all 3 lines or only the paid lines?

Thanks OP. Last month I switched over to T-Mobile Magenta with a 20% Discount

2 (paid) +1 (line on us) = 3 lines for $96 (tax included)

Friday I added 1 free line using this Promo. So now I have 4 Magenta lines for $96. My 2nd grader will have his own number now.

I know some people got a better deal than this but I am happy. Hope I can add few more free lines in the future.

As far as I know I've gotten in on every one of these free deals they have offered, as well as the very first one they did which was 'add a line for $5'. I think this goes back about 5 years or so.

My account page reads like this:

Simple Choice North America 10GB
$125.00/mo Plus taxes and fees
Applied discounts and promotions:
$20 Friends & Fam 2 Lines On Us (Additional Lines)
$20 2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)
$15 75% off AAL Promotion (Additional Lines)
$20 This One's on Us (AAL) (Additional Lines)
$20 2020 Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines)

As you can see I have 5 free lines (one data, 4 voice) and one $5 line (voice) to go with my initial 4 lines at $120. When they switched the 10GB Simple Choice to unlimited data, they made most of my dreams come true. Only thing I wish I could be on ONE instead of Simple Choice, basically just for the free netflix and avoid the taxes on the free lines, but the total cost would be higher anyways.

I am on select choice plan. How much is your simple choice plan for 2 lines? I have tried to switch but no luck. Anything you can provide will be helpful. Thanks

Did this earlier this morning via twitter. I'm on SC plan with 4 lines for $120. I already had a device and a SIM. I paid $0 to activate/do the order and was not forced to buy a new SIM. It did take a little while, roughly 3 hours, of DM's going back and forth. However it was painless, and upon completion I had a text on my main # to confirm and the new SIM was active.

I have the Tmo ONE plan with kickback and was able to this through Costco yesterday and also took advantage of the Samsung P6 promo (b1g1 @1k off) that's still ongoing, so not tied to 24 months credit. I have a question for those with kickback. Does your monthly plan cost reflect this kickback discount already? I'm wondering if they screwed up my account as it now shows my account being $40 more than what I usually pay with kickback factored in. I don't recall what it said before hence my question. I checked each line does have the kickback option checked, including this "free" line, but I'm guessing the free line doesn't get any discounts. There was a note that kickbacks only apply to lines activated before sometime in 2018 (don't recall exact date), which is fine but don't want to have to pay $40/month extra for this "free" line. Appreciate any insight.

Skipped the last one of these, but hopped on this for an extra line on my existing One plan w/ some existing kickback & other discounts.

Compared to the rest of the folks in this thread I'm a lightweight as only have 3 paid, 2 free lines, and didn't bother with the port-in or phone purchase option. Unfortunately got charged $20 for rep assist & $10 for a SIM, maybe I'll try to fight that assist charge later, but doesn't seem worth it.

Justified the laziness as would have a better chance of not switching me to Magenta or losing discounts. So far so good. Although would have liked a new iPhone - ah well, always a missed deal out there and in this case some money saved Smilie

If Kickback is automatically added to your this free line, then I think, you'd be the first and maybe only to have that added. I and other tried adding it through TForce and it was no go. Your Plan total shown on the account is always before any Kickback.

We're all submitting the $250 rebate offer on the free line so presumably you can get it on all 3 lines if you do a valid port-in on all three lines. Phone offers vs. $250 is something you need to decide what you value more; I went with latter.

Get details on the 20% insider hookup offer in this thread. Presumably expires 9/30. Yes, eligible for 3rd free line offer making 3 lines $96.
