Just recently got an email about a "Yahoo Plus Mobile Protect" plan that Yahoo is launching. It appears to be backed by Asurion, $5 per month, and $49 service fee. With a maximum coverage of $2000 per claim.
I used to rely on my Wells Fargo free phone protection, but from my understanding, the super cheap deductible has changed, and the maximum coverage (last time I checked) was super low, not even an iPhone's full cost now.
I just wanted to put this out there, as at least from my eyes, this looks like it could be the best protection plan/warranty out there! It appears that you don't need to have their "yahoo mobile" plan, and can have any carrier, though the phones eligible are limited to what is on a list that can be found on their website.
What do you all think about this? Best plan out there? I'm thinking I may sign up.
