Depends on what you're comparing them to. If I was being chased by a bear, I'd much rather be wearing these than a pair of cowboy boots or bedroom slippers, I guess. Would I intentionally wear these to run a 5k or further? No.
Basketball shoes are designed to have a ton of lateral support and ankle support, but they don't usually have the smoothest heel to toe transition for running. UA does make several nice lines of HOVR running shoes if you like the HOVR cushion and the UA aesthetic, though.
Got these from last deal, beware that they appear to run small. I'm usually a size 9, got 9.5 in these and they were really tight. I'm gonna end up exchanging for size 10.5 at least.

too bad sizes 12.5 and up are sold out for the purple and green...I got the white one, I wear a size 12 and it runs a bit tight...get a half or size higher if available
