Costco has its Oculus Quest 2 bundle available for preorder. Bundle includes the 256 GB Oculus Quest 2, the eilte strap, and the fit pack for $430. This retails for $490 so you are saving about $60 plus getting Costco's 90 day return policy in case you don't like it. The elite strap gives you a more rigid strap that some people will prefer, and the fit pack gives you some additional facial interfaces to help you find a better facial fit, and light blockers to block light bleed from below.

I absolutely love my Quest 1. Unfortunately, the privacy concerns, required login, their recording of audio and video from the device, and them locking down the app store guarantees I'll never own this device, no matter how good it is.

General gist is that it is a definite upgrade on the internals, but there are some design changes that were made to keep cost down, and the facebook integration is very worrisome. Specific design changes are a new strap that feels flimsier (but this bundle includes the elite strap), controllers that feel worse, and a more restrictive IPD slider. They also were concerned that there was no 90 hz software available at launch and 90 hz over Oculus Link had not been enabled just yet. And finally, there are some very concerning aspects of the Facebook integration that are not fully known.

It appears our orders are fulfilled directly by the manufacturer, so likely Costco is at the mercy of oculus. I'm sure Oculus is prioritizing their in-house orders.

Yea.... get a WIFI 6 router.... I am using Asus AX3000 for quest1 with virtual desktop app... pretty good 😌

Nothing here. Tried to talk to someone yesterday who could give me an idea of when orders will ship and I couldn't get an answer. Bout to cancel mine and just go buy it locally. Not sure why they didn't ship items out a few days early, or at least make sure they shipped yesterday for everyone.

When they first sent out "shipping" notifications, my estimated delivery was the 15th. Sometime yesterday, the estimate changed to the 14th (today). UPS tracking shows "Shipment Ready for UPS", though, so I am not holding my breath.

Mine was 14th, and then 15th, and now it is out for delivery, so it is one day early then original ETA.

My order has been marked as shipped, but i have not received any email from Costco telling me so. There is now a tracking number under order details. When i click on the tracking it says "Order Is Being Processed"

Seems like they maybe shipping them out soon!
