Brickseek shows it priced at $15 for the Walmart store near me but Walmart sells it at $39.
should be $15. nothing more. brickseek is using the same POS price instore. double check the upc. if its the exact same upc, it will ring up at $15.

The perfect use case since the stuff on them can be easily recovered. And don't forget, you can install two without a hub since there are two USB3 ports on the back of at least an XB1 (and I think 2+ on PS4)
PS4 Pro has 2 front 1 rear. PS4 has 2 front.

Brickseek shows 6+ available while walmart pick up all shows out of stock. Any point in checking out the store 15 miles away?

if you're in the Detroit Metro area, the Walmart on 14mile and Van Dyke has 8 left. I just got 2. It shows 6+.

I keep seeing this listing and I tried unsuccessfully looking in my local Walmart. I ended up buying one on eBay for 30 usd free shipping expedited. I tested it on 2020 iPad Pro and it works really well. The plug seems strong and if treated carefully (as any electronic device) it should be fine. Comes with 1 year warranty. I appreciate getting a relatively fast 420 MB's 480 gig SSD for $30 bucks! A comparable albeit better build quality device is around 70 or more US dollars. The amount of effort searching brickseek deals, for me anyways, justifies a flat 30 or so price online at eBay. Take care folks and be safe

Where are these units found? Inside the cage or on the shelf?
There is none in the cage at my store so I searched around there's a big box only hidden on the most bottom shelf

Mine benchmarked at the 430/400 speeds.

Not sure why people are asking about the format. I just reformatted mine in disk management in 10 seconds.
When I use CrystalDiskMark, I get about the same benchmark results (460/430). My initial crude test which produced the 310-315MB/s write speeds was a real world test. I just dragged and dropped 50GB total of files in 1.5-2.0GB chunks over to the drive from my local nvme drive.

I tried to buy 6. Walmart employee didn't allow me to do that. They said I could only buy 3. That's weird.
That's cuz they wanted the other three that's when you say I need to see a manager because there is no limit on the amount you could buy

Could not find any at 2 local stores. I checked in the clearance aisle along with the SSD and HDD section. Any other places where these would be?
I swear people are not reading my posts. Check in the back to school area. Three stores I went to had none in the electronics area but each had 20+ in the back to school area. All out in the open to grab.

Did any one get a chance to upgrade the firmware. Looks like it has few newer version. The Firmware tool doesn't have an option to upgrade, just helps me to find my SSD version. CS105KB3.
There is not a firmware update for these. The firmwares on the site for the portable ssd are for different models. But to be safe I called PNY and he said these don't have any new firmware.

Got two for $15 each. Couple stores around Houston have them in stock.
