So I guess I have access to this via my father in law. Anything I need to be aware of ordering from them? Full warranty? Will Best Buy price match?
Yes full warranty and additional 3yrs for $99. I just ordered one online and you have the option to get it delivered or curbside pickup if one is located near. Oh, and no sales tax which is something Best Buy can't do.
Hdmi 2.1 ? - doubt it but if anyine knows off top...oitherwise i'll check when i get a min
(or maybe at least 2.0b but not sure that guarantees anything..)
Also need 120hz native refresh but i have to assume it will for this model...and accept the input since most higher end sonys do i believe
Gotta be fully ps5 / xbox X ready or makes no sense to get a new tv until it is...then its a real upgrade, for me at least
Found my answer and im happy if this is legit:
two of Sony's new LCD TV ranges for 2020 will feature an HDMI 2.1 port capable of receiving 4K at 120 frames per second (4K120) — and 8K60 for 8K TVs. These are the 8K Z8H (Z8H) and the 4K X900H (XH90) ranges.
Last year's Sony 8K Z9G (Z9G) will carry over into 2020 and also feature an HDMI 2.1 port for 4K120 and 8K60.
In addition, X900H (XH90) will be the first Sony TV to offer support for HDMI 2.1's VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode). The former is variable refresh rate for smoother, lag-free gameplay via a PC or game console (must also support VRR). The latter allows the TV to automatically switch into 'Game' mode when it detects a game via HDMI. These features will be added through a future software update for X900H (XH90) only.
That 2nd paragraph is just par for the course...NICE
Click on the link and go to the specifications it is hdmi 2.1
Yeah i went to a few sites just to make sure no errors and this is def going to be a good ps5 / series x gaming tv. Low lag, all the needed specs, no g sync or freesync but not sure how much if any that matters.
Seems like one of the better values for a quality tv with the needed specs for next gen consoles at 65" or bigger ... tuff to ignore this one, im about to pull it...
E-arc, vmm, hdmi 2.1, 120hz native, ALLM, and the usual HDR10+ dolby vision etc...
HDMI 2.1 will be coming in a firmware update supposedly before the PS5 arrives, No confirmation on this though. I just picked up the 65" X900H off greentoe for $1095, I wanted to pay this price but they didn't budge. Just shipped today, FedEx though, not sure I trust that but crossing my fingers.

Yeah i read same everywhere. Sony themselves marketed and promised this so it has to come or their name will be ruined for life now LOL...im sure its right around the corner
It has 2.1 just the not the full 2.1 feature support yet allegedly, needs some additional updates..the trick was/is also finding supported content/sources to plug into it ..

Yeah i have a 75cihch 950g it doesn't have hdmi 2.1 which sucks because I plan on getting the Xbox series x and the ps5 if all these resellers stop buying the pre-orders up in 30 minutes of them going live smh.
