That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

I have 2 lines from Cricket ready for port in. Would this be the best course of action:

1. Go to Costco and open a new account, port in one line and register for both Costco $100 BYOD and T-Mobile $250 BYOD.
2. Next day, port in 2nd line and qualify for free line on us + $250 BYOD

What's the cheapest plan I should sign up for this scenario?
Asked T-Force, Cricket numbers won't qualify. You can contact them to double check though. Peace

That is true. The T-mo rep sent me a link to complete my order (it has t-mo in the URL), but it took me right to the Sprint login screen. Looks like I wasted $14 for the two AT&T number I just bought on Ebay.

Two AT&T phone numbers for sale CHEAP. laugh out loud
Hey there! back from the retirement so soon? lol. What's the reason that you can't use the 2 ebay Att numbers? was it because they see you as an existing customer from the sprint deal?

I asked t-force to add a new line for me. Its been 12 hours later they still havent processed it.
I am waiting for the new line to be processed, so i can start the porting process. does it usually take this long?
the rep i spoke to said it could be as late as Monday, as they are very busy.

T-Force response on this:

"It looks like only ATT, Verizon, Claro, U.S. Cellular, Spectrum Mobile, or Xfinity Mobile lines would be eligible. Cricket may be a sublet of ATT but it wouldn't meet the eligibly for this promotion. "

That is what exactly I ended up doing 6 months back. Do it now and don't wait. Check Verizon. I was paying $160 for all lines including all tax and fees and Auto pay discounts. They had $200 per line gift card promotion per line. 6 months stay was required. Now back in T-Mobile with hookup plan. 3 for $96 magenta. Good luck.

Does anyone know if Verizon or ATT offer similar deals like this ? I have Tmobile for years but TMobile has not offered a single deal for existing customers... I called to add a free line; they said my plan does not qualify..
So I will cancel Tmobile and comet back to get one of these good promotions...

Where did you see Free line promo will invalidate the BYOD promo?

By the way, this reddit post said costco is not an eligible channel for the $250 BYOD promo:

https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...&context=3
My assumption on no $250 on free line. I'd rather pay the $20/mon for two months and not risk losing out on $250.00.

I cannot verify for sure Costco is OK, but I never use a reddit post as gospel.

There is another TMobile ONE plan that allows for more lines. You should be able to switch to that one, and it does not cost more than what you have now.
They said as it's grandfathered they can't change it now ..had to move to magenta to get this

I think T-mobile give you $250 BYOD rebate instead of commission to a reseller.

Costco is a reseller, and they give you $100 GC out of their commission to lure you to open new service with them.

Logically, I don't think tmobile will give both costco commision and you byod rebate for the same line.

Just my 2 cents.

Can I open new line with non T-Mobile carrier like Att/Verizon/us cellular and then port my number to My existing T-Mobile plan to get the free line +$250 promotion? In worst case I loose my one month cost with ATT/Verizon about 80 for first month or so.
