That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Doesn't seem like a great deal to me. I have to port in a number from another carrier, and BYOD so no free (or discounted) flagship phone, and all I get is $250?

I guess if you were already set on leaving Verizon or ATT and had a decent phone and couldn't find any other deal on TM that suited your situation, then $250 is OK...better than nothing!

What am I missing?
missing the stacking the promotions, this and "free line on us" so if you join an existing tmobile plan with port in number, you pretty much using free Tmobile line from now on, with a potential $250 prepaid card bonus on top of the free service...

$250 and "free line on us" promos do not stack, according to T-Force.

I have cancelled all lines from sprint in January. But still I am able to login into my account. Do you think I am in same boat as you. I don't want to waste $20 from eBay AT&T phone numbers to check whether I am qualify.
I have cricket numbers, but so many people already said they are not qualified for this promo.
Thank you. I tried, I did not get any error.
Now my question is can I reuse a old sim card? If yes how can I use it, I can see in T-Mobile website only Buy sim card option.

You don't actually need to have your own device correct? All I would need to do is purchase ATT number on ebay and port-in through a existing line or a new line on my Tmobile account right? They won't care if the line is activated and in use or not, correct?

This isn't hot — this is smoking. Another free line, $5 ATT number from eBay ported in, and $250 GC, all completed through their iMessage business chat while eating a breakfast burrito and sipping coffee at the kitchen table. Man, I am *so* thankful I jumped ship to T-Mobile last year.
Do you just search anywhere on eBay to purchase the ATT number?

There's no definite info on which plans qualify for this offer. I just used Magenta as a "safe bet" because it's not the cheapest.
Call T-Mobile and rep said have to go into store to get "Sprint situation" taken care of but did mentioned that all plans except Essentials work.

You have a add a new line to be eligible for this promotion. If you have an old tmobile sim card laying around that's not currently active, you can ask the representative to use that sim card to activate the new line. But you have to add a new line first before you can port in an att number. Otherwise, you are not eligible for the BYOD Promotion.

No, there is no device tradein required.
This is byod - bring your own device, portin your existing number from a approved carrier, and get $250 in 8 weeks.
approved carrier list = AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, Spectrum, Claro or Xfinity
even though its BYOD, i thought you dont really need a device. just port in. also, are MVNOs really restricted? i thought thats OK.

that was my plan, but hoping others here can confirm. also, looks like TMO free line may not stack with this. anyone here with the costco add line for $100 rebate terms?

Is this really worth porting for a $70 with taxes as I don't have chance to get a free line?

Does porting from Visible qualify or is Visible not considered "Verizon"? Thanks.
