They said as it's grandfathered they can't change it now ..had to move to magenta to get this
Someone on reddit had success recently. I would keep trying until you get someone who is willing to do it.

Yeah buying numbers from eBay makes this easier for us to use this promo. And to iwheela, yes free line can get $250 promo. It's confirmed on T-Mobile reddit multiple times
I couldn't confirm if the port needed to happen the same time the line was activated. Do you know if it has to be at the same time or can it be a few days later as well?

Anybody know if you need 4 different devices to activate four lines? Or can you use the same device with the same IMEI to activate all 4 lines?

WTF! Does anyone has to pay "assisted support" which cost $20/lines to have the account set up?

Want to get some clarifications:
1) Is it confirmed that the $250 does not stack with the $100 Costco? Seems that there are people trying it.
2) The $250 can stack with the 1 free line.

Thanks!

I just switched from Metro PCS to Tmobile 3 days ago with Costco 4 lines with BYOD and got $100 x 4 gift cards coming in a few weeks. I have 14 days to cancel. Is it worth it to cancel and go for this deal?
This port in promo wouldn't work because you were metro pcs which is owned by t-mobile

Just now I am done with T-M chat support. Initially soft pull and if they need to verify identity, it will be hard pull. I shared my Social# and during soft pull, they couldn't confirm my identity. She asked my permission for hard pull and after I said yes, she ran the report and came up with sad news.

So I'm getting a message from my systems showing you have or have had a sprint account recently No worries this didn't hit your credit at all but we will need to send ya in store for a quote to migrate that over. Let me get ya an appointment going Do you have preferd time you'd like to head in?

Reason for rejection:

So because of the merger you technically were already a customer of our even though you were with sprint before it happened. This means that some of your info is already in the systems so they have to do it store. I can try and find you an appointment today so we can get that done and I'll leave them a note so you aren't starting from scratch.

Final words - Sprint customer are not able to port in through online. It will require store visit but success from store is highly YMMV.

Costco $100 offer is not stackable with this offer. Thanks Grouchy16 for Costco confirmation.

When did you cancel your Sprint account? There gonna be a time limit on it so you can qualify again, right?

As a brand new customer could I port in 4 number for Tmobile Promo and 4 number for Sprint? Or as they have already merged I can only take part in one promo?

If only one, which one is better to sign up for?

What's the cheapest plan I can buy for a single line to leverage this deal?

They're fine to use for this. And the account # look right. And freecarrier has them as ATT mobility. . .I just remember last time using these when I had to go through phone call with porting dept. these "ATT #'s she was able to pin it down further to some Blackwood or some other crazy name for a small MVNO or small Business line reseller of ATT service like Black Wireless was for TMO etc. So yeah you could have a "Black Wireless" type selling ATT business line #'s without selling service, in bulk, to ebay sellers.
That actually seems to make sense (just thought of it).
Do you think free carrier lookup can reliably tell AT&T numbers from AT&T MVNOs?
