That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Well I had issue online since I was sprint customer less than 90days. Went in store today and did port over 2 lines (visible and Att ebay). The rep had to call someone since it showed legacy sprint customer. I asked him will I still be able to port in and do the $250 rebate and said yes. So I went ahead and did it cost 2*$20 support fee +$10 sim. I might add 2 more lines later on. I also had 20% hookup code.
Did they run a credit check?

It is good for the deal as long as you close it. Then try online, and chat with support who will set you up for an in store appointment.. in the store they can over ride the issue is what I am being told
So it is the name that identifies you as existing customer not phone number? Meaning, I am not porting the number currently on Sprint for this deal so do I still have to close. For the 20% deal it says the number you are porting in can't be on TMO/Sprint for 90 days

I also have Visible which Reddit says MVNOs wont work, guessing people in this thread got it done in store

Hi, I chatted with a representative yesterday. I will be moving from Verizon to Tmobile with 4 lines. I understand there are a few promotions going on now.

1. 3rd Line free on any 2 lines (so 4 lines would be charged at cost of 3 lines).
2. With BYOD, We would be eligible for $250 per line.
3. With 20% off Hook up discount, that would offer 20% discount on each bill.

Questions:
a. Are all three offers applicable for a PORT-IN customer?
b. The Rep mentioned $20 / line service charge and $10 / line SIM card charge.
How do I avoid the service charge? Does activating the account on tmobile.com myself avoid that charge?
c. I understand the 20% hookup discount has to be completed before Sep 30.
Can I order sim cards from a eBay seller for $4 each and use that later? They arrive only by Sep 29th.

Should I register with the 20% offer code at insider.tmobile.com first, before activating an account at tmobile.com?

Thank you all for bringing notice to this deal. Appreciate it.

Already registered my main number for the 20% hookup discount. I have two numbers on AT&T, two on Xfinity mobile... What's the cheapest and easiest way to get on this for the four lines, making sure I get the deal for bringing in a free line as well?

Would in store or online be better? I'd prefer handling everything online and avoiding any extra fees. Thanks!

step 1
obtain 20% hookup code

step 2
register your phone number on https://insider.t-mobile.com/
this registration should be completed by 9/30/2020
you now have 14 days to port in this number to tmobile

step 3
place sim order at tmobile.com

step 4
tmobile ships 2nd day air. you will receive your order on 3rd business day.
sims will come preactivated with preassigned/temp nos

step 5
call tmobile and port in your nos to all the lines
make sure the no. registered for hookup in step 2 is ported in

step 6
claim your rebates and wait 6-8 weeks
Thank you for the write up. Helps to understand the steps. Hope this gets pinned up in the wiki.
Question: At what step should I activate the Tmobile account to get "Free line on us"?

Hmm, I did not receive any of that follow up stuff. I only received an email stating that my sim had shipped today. and later another email stating that the newly ported number on my account had been activated.

I just checked my account and the ported number is there on the free line for $0, so it looks like it all worked as it should. I just now submitted the $250 rebate too. Great deal. Thanks OP and everyone who posted the details.
Did you have to pay $20 per line service activation fees? Is there a way to avoid that. Thanks.

I don't know if this has been answered before.
I got the 4 sims and 4 lines setup thats all good but I only have 2 phones. I will keep on paying for those lines obviously but does anybody know if all the sims have to be active all the time (like making calls or data and stuff). I wonder if they will cancel the service if the card is not used at all.
I just want to put in the drawer or something and get the rebate card later.

Yes ran credit check. Got the 2 lines activated. I wanted to add 2 more lines but wanted to do online to save $20 support fee. If you do online the shipping is slow 5 business days for free. So I might do instore tomorrow.
