Tmobile rep said my simple choice plan qualifies for both free line and 50% off iphone xr. Upon receiving the phone and checking the status online it doesnt show the promo for 50% off. I chat with tmobile rep again and they said my plan doesnt qualify for the 50% off of iphone xr. I sent them the text from previous tmobile rep saying i do qualify. They said theyre going to discuss it among their team and call me on friday.

Anyone encountering the same issue?

Thanks, but I don't use FB or any of those social networking sites.
I've been on hold for one and half hoursMad after calling the number transfer center (877-789-3106). I can't wait any longer. I give up. I will try again tomorrow.

Finally got my 4 numbers ported in. I called Porting Dept at 877-789-3106 and was on hold for close to an hour but got nobody. So I used the general T-mo Chat, got bounced from a sales rep to a specialist who said he could help me with the porting but for verification I needed to log in. Well, I couldn't log in because I don't have a permanent number yet. So the specialist called the Port Dept, and although there was a hold queue he was able to jump me to the first in the queue. After that, a Port phone rep helped me with porting in the numbers and it took about 15 minutes.

I asked her if there's a way for a customer to do the port-in using the automated system and she said "No, it has to be done by a rep".

I was able to place an order using T-force on FB yesterday. I used a number that was with Sprint until July end but with a different account that was also with Sprint till early July. This was the same number I tried to use for insider hook-up and it took me to sprint login page. They said if I am able to create the account, the number will be eligible for BYOD offer. Placed order for 4 lines with $43 sim charges that they have promised to credit back once my account is opened. Now waiting for sim cards as they did ground shipping.
Is your sprint account closed or still active? I see that many ppl from the sprint deal aren't able to open a T-Mobile account for being a old sprint customer.

Did you open tour T-Mobile account using the SSN of someone who didn't have sprint before?

Once you insert the new T-Mobile SIM card into the phone, should you able to make a call Or find your phone number....you can create the T-Mobile ID using the temporary T-Mobile number and then live chat with them to port over your numbers once login

It's still active. I had a non-cc account in Sprint and now used my SSN for t-mobile.

I was about to say the same thing. Set up the TMobile account using the temp number and then contact them via chat. At least this is going to be my plan once my SIM cards are delivered.

For those who have order delivered, do you get an order number? I got an email "Once we process your order, we'll send you a confirmation email."

We don't. Will have to wait until the SIM cards are delivered. Then set up the account (using one of the temp numbers - you can find out what it is when you insert the SIM), and only then contact T-mobile support and request port-in an all the lines. Don't see any benefit of doing this any faster than that.

Did you just place an order? Someone from Tmobile is most likely going to call you. They will confirm the order, ask you a few questions and 'manually' process it. Once that's done, you will get another email with an order number.

I asked the specialist in Chat if I should create my login ID so I could authenticate and he could help me with the port. But he recommended not to create the ID using the temp phone number because after that temp number is replaced with the port in number then that login is voided, and I might have problem creating another login ID if I use the same email address.

So ppl with closed sprint account can't open T-Mobile account while ppl with active sprint account are able to open new T-Mobile account......

Thanks for your dp

Edit:
Fun2s said the sprint account is inactive but able to log in

Did you give the number or asked directly is visible port in qualify fot the promo? Better to give the number and ask if eligible.
Below is the chat transcript with tracking/phone numbers altered and names changed to Jack & Jill (to protect the innocent).

Will this hold up with T-force if I have issues?
Who do I have the pleasure of speaking with today?
Jill
- 4:38 PM
My name is Jack
Me
- 4:38 PM

Hey Jack! I hope you are doing well! How can I assist you?
Jill
- 4:39 PM
A few questions, if you please

I have an insider 20% discount code. Tracking ID: blah-bla-blah

I would like to know if the following can be stacked with the insider code:

1) Could you tell me if my phone numbers, 800-555-1212/1213/1214, are eligible for the 2020BYOD1 promotion ($250 Port-In Credit per line)?

2) Two new Magenta lines with the 3rd line free? If so, what is the promo code?

3) If I were to forgo one of the $250 port-in credits in #1 above, am I eligible for the 50% off promo on either the REVVL 5G or the LG Velvet 5G or the OnePlus 8 5G? If so, what is the promo code?

4) Can I get free two day shipping with new activation (promo code: 2DAY)?
Me
- 4:40 PM

Does an agent already gives you an insider code?
Jill
- 4:41 PM
yes
Me
- 4:41 PM

Okay! Who is your current carrier?
Jill
- 4:41 PM
visible.com they are a MVNO of verizon
Me
- 4:42 PM

Awesome!

Basically yes you have the benefit to have the 20% off!

2) You are right we have that offer!
Jill
- 4:44 PM

The $250 is only combine with BYOD! You can use the REVVL 5G 50% in other line!

You can get the free 2 day shipping!
Jill
- 4:49 PM
I have two iphone SE and one Iphone 11 to use a a BYOD but may sell one of the SE's as it has a small screen and is hard to see
Me
- 4:50 PM

I definitely understand! You may qualifie for the $250 promo BYOD! You need to register!

How many lines are you interested?
Jill
- 4:51 PM
how do I register for the BYOD
three new lines
Me
- 4:52 PM

https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ after you made the purchase!
Jill
- 4:52 PM
So, I am eligible for all 4 of my questions?
Me
- 4:52 PM

Yes you are!
Jill
- 4:53 PM
What do you mean by: after I make the purchase I register?
thank you for confirming my eligibility of the four items i listed
Me
- 4:54 PM

Correct you need to do the registration within 30 days of purchase.
Jill
- 4:54 PM
Okay, I pay half price for the device, say the REVVL 5G, then can get the credits by registration.
Me
- 4:56 PM

Basically you can't combine the REVVL 5G with the BYOD promo! You register for the phone you are bringing and in a separate line you can get the REVVL half of the price!
Jill
- 4:58 PM
i need to go pick up my daughter, can we finish this a little later
Me
- 4:58 PM

Sure I can gives a call back tomorrow if you wants?
Jill
- 4:58 PM
I didn't mean to imply both the $250 and BYOD for a line. I meant one or the other per line
you wrote "may qualifie for the $250 promo BYOD". Does that mean that i may get denied for being with visible.com
Me
- 4:59 PM

I meant you have to register!
Jill
- 5:00 PM
great, can we just do chat later -- I am still tring to get my ducks in a row
Me
- 5:01 PM

Sure sounds great!
Jill
- 5:01 PM
THANK YOU!!! be back soon
Me
- 5:02 PM

Sure!

Edit: I just read that the 3rd line free ends 9/24. With today being 9/23 does that mean that I need to sign up before midnight tonight or do I the entire day of 9/24 to sign up?

No, it will not. After the number is replaced, and when you try to log into the T-Mobile ID associated with the temp number, it will ask you to attach a new number again as the temp number is gone...I was able to log into my T-Mobile ID that created back in April, it asks me to relink a new T-Mobile number
