That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

When will Tmobile generate the 1st bill? After you activate your SIMs or after they start sending out SIMs along with email saying that your account is active?
They generate the 1st bill VERY quickly. I ordered online on 9/21, SIMs shipped 9/22, received & activated 9/23. On 9/25, the 1st bill was ready. The billing period started on 9/22, the day the SIMs were shipped.

This $250 BYOD is combinable with $450 Keep and switch. Stated on Tmobile Website. Other discounts are Insider, and Referral $50 up to 10. Proof: https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/b...N956Q20836

Important Note: Only for Verizon and Att Customers.

I also don't see the banner anywhere on Tmobile's Website so I'm a little confused if its still available.

yea, you maybe right. likely useless.
The sim cards i got from the store were not activated on my lines. The web team wants to send me a text to one of my temp nos to validate id. The temp nos/sims are still in transit.
So, I had to go back to store, show ID, and get these sim cards registered on my account.
Then came back home, called customer service, and completed the ports.
Congrats!!! Submit the rebates, sit back, and enjoy the ride. :-)

Just called and chatted with T Mobile , both confirmed it will be a hard pull.
They said "This deal is for Postpaid accounts so we would have to do a credit inquiry still."

Yes, indeed. The funny thing, my billing period covers the following period: Sep 24, 2020 - Sep 24, 2020...

Looks similar to sprint. Where the billing period and service period are different. Service period in this case would most likely be Sep 24 to Oct 23. What's surprising though is that they start billing even before you receive the sims. Need to see how they adjust otherwise those who receive sim cards in a week will pay for service they never received.

Is it too late to order? I figure I can get the hookup fast. But what about redeeming it by Sept 30? I worry no time to get the sim then activating them by Oct 1

yup, been like this for many years at tmobile.
billing should ideally start when I receive the sims and trigger service activation.
but tmobile sends out preactivated sims and start billing right away. the sims could be in transit for a week.

I assume after SIM cards are activated they don't have to stay in the BYOD device or even be used to get the $250 rebate? For example, I am keeping my Verizon plan but will use my unlocked device currently on Verizon for the TMobile BYOD. I will replace Verizon SIM with TMobile SIM just for activation, then go back to Verizon SIM and not use TMobile SIM anymore, pay for 2 months of TMobile, get $250 BYOD rebate, then cancel TMobile line.

Here's a question for the experts: I successful created a brand new Sprint account after taking part in the $300 BYOD deal. I think I ported out around mid-July.

Do you think I could be successful in also creating a T-Mobile account??? I previously tried last week and I was one of the Sprint zombie accounts after the credit check screen.

Do you think my account cleared and I can create a separate T-Mobile account to take advantage of the offer on the T-Mobile side?

Yes, SIM cards don't have to stay in the BYOD device, and you can use the BYOD device on another line or on another carrier. Not sure about others, but my SIM cards came pre-activated, ready to use. I made test calls to make sure they are active and then threw them under the pillows and now waiting patiently for the rebates. Stick Out Tongue

I found the reason with my account, I port in all my 4 number 3 days after the account activated when the bill is already generated.

I saw this in this thread.

Sorry about yours! That's pretty strange!

to make sure hookup 20% appears on the first bill, i think we will need to do the port before 1st bill generates
can you please provide the timeline of order placement date , account activation date (email received with temp nos), and bill generate date?
I did port the same day i got the sims. But I didn't order the ATT numbers until the sims got here, they came in within 5 minutes. After the port, I then entered hookup code and did autopay. 2 days later my bill generated, so it was pretty close for hookup to got activated and autopay discount to show. But rep said i should get credit on next bill and they at least gave me a 15 dollar credit. 611 rep, not tforce.
