That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Here's a question for the experts: I successful created a brand new Sprint account after taking part in the $300 BYOD deal. I think I ported out around mid-July.

Do you think I could be successful in also creating a T-Mobile account??? I previously tried last week and I was one of the Sprint zombie accounts after the credit check screen.

Do you think my account cleared and I can create a separate T-Mobile account to take advantage of the offer on the T-Mobile side?
Several people have done so by going to the store. Maybe one did it on the phone. I am assuming the new sprint acct is in a diff name.

if i want to activate new account using my own sim, is there any way to avoid paying for sim or phone support fee?
it's ridiculous that i gotta pay them to even become a customer.

If I go to the store - there is an activation fee of $31 per line. Is that the same for online?

If you order online, and don't need any assistance from a rep, you pay only $10 per SIM. No activation fee. If you need assistance, they'll charge $20 per line, plus $10 per SIM.
At the store, they'll charge $30 per line, but no charge for the SIMs.

The way I look at it, it's the cost of the bait to catch the big fish.

The FULL COST of Magenta 4-line Plan is $180. After $20 autopay discount and $20 discount for ONE free line, the quoted price is $140. That person got 20% hookup discount and TWO free lines somehow. All the discounts in his screenshot add up to $88. Subtract $88 from $180 and you get $92.

Just want to add: when his bill ultimately straightens out in 1-2 cycles, it will be $96/month. Insider hookup takes 20% on the last line, after all discounts. So, $120 -20% off = $96

Yep. The way his cost breaks down now, the 2nd free line is "double dipping", getting $20 off for being free, plus $4 (20%) off with the hookup code.

Not possible. The port-in number will be ported in as is. After you've received the GCs, I think you can ask T-mo to replace the number with a new number. But doing that before getting your GCs can jeopardize your chance of meeting the requirements.

I finally got a hook up code. Where do you enter that in the online process. I tried in the promo but it did not work.
