Sweet. Reps to ya, OP!

Existing TMO customer here with 3 paid lines and 2 free. Added a 3rd free line to my existing account via app messaging. Received text that "promo would apply to line." Received SIM about 4 days later. Popped it in an old iPhone SE I had and found it was already active. Purchased an ATT number from eBay for $6. Received that info about an hour later. Used app messaging to port that number in to the new line. Took about 5 min total, and I received a text confirming it. Submitted the rebate. So maybe 20 min total work and another 20 reading Slickdeals threads should net $250.

If the both tombile accounts are on different names then you can port out and in in couple days without affecting any promotions on insider account. You can also replace your insider 3rd line free number with any number from your old account too. I just did it last week.
Ported out 5 lines to verizon from my tmobile account and ported back in couple days after to wife's insider tmobile account.
But to make it work both accounts must be on different names/ssn.

Now this really clears things up. Yep doing the same thing you just did, though I'm guessing you got both free line promos? We started to open a new account for wife in time to do both, but hit 2 weeks of roadblocks . . .former Sprint flag, address flag, etc. etc. and even Exec. office who worked with me for those 2 weeks "couldn't" muster up a workaround for free 4th line. . .

Correct, I received both free lines, total 6 with $128 bill. Created new account at Costco with one GV number port in with total 5 lines to get $100 byod promo at Costco. The insider discount confirmed on same day.

I got lucky to have wonderful rep. She went through every fine print to make sure I can keep all promotions on insider account and said will qualify for $250 BYOD too(time will tell).

My total bill for 4 lines in $146 for Magenta with hook-up discount. I'm supposed to get one line free.
Do you know anyone why I'm not getting one line discount.
Thanks

6-8 weeks from submission is when you'll know whether or not it was approved.

Do you have the SIMs in the phone(s)? When you submitted the rebates, it asked which phone number you want the confirmation text to be sent to. Check that phone.

I got that deal (on my name, used my SSN) on another phone number not my primary. After I got the card, I canceled and port out to Mint. Do u know if I am still eligible to get that deal again with my primary number?
The limit is 2 GCs per account. If you open a 2nd time using the same SSN, it'll treat that as same account, you won't get more GCs.

I received my sim card today for the free line and yet to do the port in. I was thinking of buying it from ebay. When I checked tmo about the fine print, tmo has sent a message as 'port in an eligible post paid line' from other carriers. All the port numbers I see in ebay is mentioned as prepaid. Can anyone experience similar scenario? Not sure if I can move ahead with ebay prepaid phone number. Any input is appreciated.

Your post is confusing. Are you buying phone number or sim card on ebay?
