That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

I also received text messages from T Mobile that said I was scheduled to receive my payments in 15-30 days for both the $250 promotion and $450 promotion.
wait. you got txt mssg approvals already? any change to the status website?

anyone else get txt mssg status?

Quote from IKM :
So today is Oct 2. The promo is still shown on the TMobile site, still w/o the expiration date. Does anyone have any insight at this point? TIA

I talked with support last night and they said they currently have no end date for the $250 BYOD promo.
i really dont understand the confusion here. the promo is over. deadline was 10/01. this is super clear on the sprint promo page and the new updated tmo page.

Do you get AutoPay discount for the free line on us? See the updated snapshot from this morning. I was seeing autopay discount for the free line (2020 line on us 2 promo; autopay discount went from 15 to 20 on 9/26).

Now autopay discount went back down to 15 from 20. Insider discount went from 8 to 9 which is explained by (20% of $5 increase = 1).

I called yesterday to change SIM card as my shipped SIM is still spinning wheels within UPS. I also ported ATT number. I hope it is not tied to these changes.

Thanks.
how many lines do you have total? 4 or 5? if only 4, how are you getting 20% hookup discount on the free line? but based on the number of autopay discounts, looks like you have 3 paid and 2 free? except your 20% hookup adds to $33. I dont get it.

This is what I have - Magenta for Business

Lines 1, 2 $130 --> $120 after Autopay --> $96 after 20% hookup discount ($24 hookup disc)
Line 3 $25 --> Free (3rd line on us) after free $20 line credit and $5 Autopay discount
Lines 4, 5 $50 --> $40 after autopay --> $32 after 20% hookup discount ($8 hookup disc)

Line 6 $25 --> Free (2020 Line on Us 2) after free $20 line credit and $5 Autopay discount. This was the case till early in the week. Today I see $5 Autopay discount removed on Line 6 I believe. Not sure why. Hence the bill went up by $5. 20% of $5 is $1, which makes overall hookup discount 32+1=$33. They need to reinstate the autopay for Line 6 to be free.

oohh got it. appreciate the clarification. that was helpful. you have 6 lines on business. thought you had 5 lines on personal. thats a good strategy to use a business account. its a different BAN right? so you can have a personal and business account then double dip promos on both? typically, other family members are recruited to increase BAN and get more promos but i never asked if TMO requires business docs to open a business account.

also, have you made changes to your account recently? whenever i do, it takes about 24-48 hrs for the servers to readjust. before that, my bill w/ promos never look correct. maybe thats why your line 6 looks off.

Never did Costco trade in deal. No idea whether it will work or not. But as the $430 is for trade-in and $250 is for BYOD, I guess both should work.
I was told by Tmobile via Twitter and also by a rep at the kiosk in Costco that they can't be combined. Kiosk rep said either the BYOD rebate or the S20FE rebate would be denied, and the only way to do it would be to add a new line.

My brother went to the store and asked to open regular Magenta acct. But the store rep opened Magenta for Business and it was the same price as regular Magenta plan since business plan had the 3rd line free as well then. And he got $400 (100 per line) promo for biz acct so he didn't complain later on when he found out via the bill.

The only thing I did was to change the SIM card yesterday as the shipped SIM card was stuck within UPS for 8 days and I was losing patience. I called to activate a SIM that I got from Apple store and port in ATT number. That's all I did. I hope nothing got messed up bcoz of change of SIM. Thanks.

thats an interesting story. i cant believe the retail store opened magenta for biz vs a consumer account. i guess its really easy to open a business account. they should have asked for your business name and EIN. but was this a corporate store or auth retailer? i wonder if the rep did that on purpose vs a mistake to hit certain metrics. but the $100/line bonus makes it a sweet deal.

also, im not 100% clear on your story. so you added the 6th free line on your brothers biz account? you did that online right? so thats why the SIM was snail mail slow? then you did a SIM swap by getting a replacement from the apple store? did the activation over the phone and ported ATT into the new SIM? if so, then thats why youre seeing the slight glitch. your line 6 went dark. it will be like that for 24-48hrs. the new SIM needs to settle within their servers. if you make more changes to try and fix it, you will cause more problems. wait a full 3 days and see if the issue resolves. if not, then start calling. otherwise, youre fine. you will see this same issue if you did a double number port which is not ideal but sometimes you port in, then port in again next day on the same line. even worse if that line has tons of other stuff on it like EIP, insurance, etc.

What's strange is if you submit a screenshot there's no way they'd know if you have been 3 months into a device payment plan.

It just means I can't bring my future iphone 12 lines over to Tmobile until February. Smilie
Verizon's payoff screen will say that you've made "X" out of 24 payments. I think that's how they know.

I assume first you have to pay off with the prior carrier, then submit the payment as proof? Or what did you need to provide for keep and switch?
Do not payoff first or you might get nothing. The rebate reimbursement calculation is based on your account balance.

I suppose the store did the business acct probably bcoz they get more commission and price was the same. It was a corporate store.

I didn't do double port. I had the original temp assigned and then just asked them to port ATT number. That was it. I will just wait a few days and see what happens. Thx

I wonder if someone willing to share the tracking number for the 20% hookup that got approved within 24-48 hrs of the porting. So I can prove to them there's definitely a problem with my hookup.

My status stuck on "Received" I saw that someone posted the description for 20% hookup is "service discount" while mine is "discount" only...

(I always got some billing problems with T-Mobile)
