I am posting here as a separate deal-talk, because I think it deserves a special attention for all those who have T-Mobile (and now Sprint) service.
The SOC Master List shows practically all of the T-Mobile account rate plan & add-on codes. complied by T-Mobile users.

rate/plan change means from SC 2gb to SC 4gb or Magenta Plus .. adding a line is not changing your plan or rate.. just adding a line ...
the free line is not "free" -- taxes/fees are charged ~$3-$4/month

Currently, there's a promotion going on to add a FREE line (just pay taxes about $4/mo). For that promo, iIf you want 2 iPhones, then BOGO is good with adding a FREE line.
Otherwise, if you have iPhone 8 (best bang for the Buck) or above and want just 1 iPhone then get iPhone Pro Max 64gb with AT&T Line (search eBay for ATT port number.. it should be available around $7).
