The reviews on Lowe's are from ego power plus. Expect them to be biased. I'm not a fan of Lowe's scraping that website to inflate the reviews of that product on their own website but I'm guessing that was something they agreed to do when taking in the Ego brand.
I do like Ego's products and have had the weed trimmer for a couple summers now. I wish this wasn't taking so long to ship because I'd like to pick one up.

Edit: pulled the trigger. thanks for sharing the deal.y local Lowe's hasn't kept these in stock very well (or not displayed) and my HD never had them. rep

dang i bought one of these from OfferUp that still had the tags on for $170 with battery. Should have waited for this for the warranty

I've been waiting for Home Depot to clearance these out (no luck yet) they have a yellow clearance sticker but still $299. I went ahead and put an order in, I can always cancel before it ships if HD winds up lowering their prices on remaining stock.

I have the blower and it works. I use it along with raking. Since it's not anchored to anything it's more of a workout. This deal is worth it for the battery, if I felt like selling a blower without battery on offerup.

I own a previous version of this which I purchased 6 months ago. It came with 2.5 mAh battery. While I don't have any issues with it, the unit is very heavy to handle it one handed. I wish it's lighter. This comes with 5 mAh battery which would be even heavier.

Reviews for this beast have been pretty much all been positive for this beast. This is from a group that has trashed the mowers.
