Has other HDMI 2.1 features, VRR, eARC, and supports 1440p120 and 1080p120. Most next gen console games that look good probably won't do 4k120, so IMHO it only matters if you will get a high end PC
Amazing that this just released TV is this cheap already
For those saying they did not believe or didn't see the 75" on sale, i was on the page when it was live but hesitated on checking out. Here's proof that it was $956.75. My goodness it seemed like a super slick price...
Is it worth it to get the Walmart extended warranty for $50 for 3 years?
I would say for these types of brands, a hard yes. My TCL 6 series from the previous gen died after 18 months. You'll see a lot of that happening in this segment of the market.
Gonna see deals on all tv's that have No hdmi 2.1 now, so if ur eying a 2019 or 2020 model that u wanted at a discount, its coming. The 75" TCL included. Only way they will be able to sell them now, esp to gamers, is deep discounts...

HDMI 2.1 really only helps gamers and most console gamers don't know or don't care. Also to keep it real, if they REALLY cared about having the latest and greatest, they wouldn't be console gaming at all.

There were two left when I was checking out and then it went out of stock and back up to $1600. Why did it take Slickdeals 50 minutes to email it to me when I have it as an alert? Fck that.
If it took that long for the site to send you a deal alert, is it possible that you have your alert set to only send it once it has say 2+ thumbs up or only after it hits Popular Deals? If so, then you might want to set the thumbs rating to 0/Any and to send instantly and see if that helps?
