These pry bars are great for removing nails and tacs without causing damage to the wood. Very well made.

What's wrong with a $6 breaker bar / wonder bar from home depot?

I recommend 9 in. Pro-Claw Nail Puller
in this weight class. Cheaper, quality is ~comparable.

And for the heavyweight class for a couple more bucks than this https://www.harborfreight.com/48-...69038.html. (Makes pulling up subfloor a cakewalk)

Guys, this is designed for furniture, trim, and fragile pieces. I have a cat's paw similar to the Estwing that I have beat the absolute crap out of. I would never use it on something fragile.

The large area on the bottom portion of this cat's paw distributes the force over a larger surface area. You can do the same thing by using a pry bar in tandem, but you're looking at about the same price and have two tools to carry around. *shrug*

I will say this was selling for $9.99 though, so not really a hot deal.

This is more for removing trim work, finish nails, etc. I think i bought one from HD for less than ten bucks. This is not a "woodworking accessory" lol.

Somehow SD recommends this to me today as a front line deal thumbnail.
But there is no price, no description, and clicking through it shows up as $29.99.

People won't 'oooh' and 'ahhh' over how much you spent on a very utilitarian, non-precision, imported piece of steel.

I also assume that this will increase 'Insta' cred....bargain at $15, imo.

I can't vouch for the quality of steel in this make but having owned a set for 30 years, I can tell you the design is vastly superior to the standard wonder bar. It's not simply meant for brute demolition. Some times things are taken apart with a little more finesse, with the aim of using it again. I use a wonder bar too, but in rehabbing older homes I'll reach for this much more often. The thinness of the blade is great for getting things unstuck without marring them. Try one, you might be surprised.
