Going to guess no. 18W won't charge any computer

I am not sure about the brand, but the 100V-250V input range makes this good for international travel. I am skeptical about what many brands advertise regarding surge protection so if that is a big issue you might want to do more research....

I just tried it with my macbook air and it kept fluctuating between charging and not charging. It'd probably work with the laptop turned off, and could probably fully charge overnight that way.

This one advertises "Non surge protector!" so can't be worse than advertised!

45W is enough to charge a MacBook Pro.

Good comment and spot. It is easy to miss since they state:

Multiple protection for your devices, overload protection, over-current protection, over-voltage protection, over-heat protection, short circuit protection and fire-resistant material.

My friend had a similar unit from this same seller. He claimed it melted. Didn't catch on fire, but was melting from one of the sockets. Maybe he just got a dud.

It will, slowly, if the machine is asleep (or perhaps just idle). I bought one of the discontinued 29w Macbook power adapters a couple of years ago and it charges my 2017 13" Macbook Pro while in heavy use (albeit veeeery slowly), so I assume 18W would at least charge it while sleeping.

That said, I wouldn't buy this for that purpose. I've got my own eye on these kinds of power blocks waiting for one with a little more USB-C oomph, too.
