Such a dumb oversight that it doesn't take Bluetooth
I thought so as well but I now know better -
"The Nintendo Switch uses Bluetooth to communicate with the wireless controllers, and like other gaming consoles, it doesn't allow Bluetooth headphones to connect directly to the system. The workaround provided in the 4.0. 0 patch allows wireless headsets that use a USB dongle to provide the wireless capability.Apr 9, 2020"
A lot of bad reviews and warnings against the vendor. Probably isn't worth it.

Ha. I always assumed the switch already had BT for audio.

Wait for the Gulikit Bluetooth adapter to go back on sale if you have any concerns about a case. I use the Nintendo grips so I was concerned about something not fitting. The Gulikit has been outstanding and is low profile while plugging into the USB-C port.
I wouldn't use any headphone jack transmitter in fact I wouldn't use the headphone jack at all on the switch.
Purely anecdotal but my first switchs cartridge slot broke, and if you want to replace it the CS and headphone jack are the same piece.
Pair that with the fact the temporary fix for it was to plug headphones in and out.. Idk I don't use the headphone jack on my new one 😅
I recommend getting a USB C Bluetooth transmitter. They're smaller generally and some have charging pass throughs. Steelseries has a Bluetooth headset that's 100 or less that is USB c as well(has a dongle for the dock)

Do you have a link to the one you are talking about?
But then you can't charge your switch while playing and use bluetooth headset at the same time.
As previously mentioned, some include pass-through charging.
