Honestly as a nurse, I would say the O2 monitoring is useless unless you have pulmonary or cardiac issues or are at risk for or have sleep apnea. For everyone else, it's a cool little gimmick with little value to your everyday life.

Most ppl will use it on day one and then forget abt it. Another shiny feature from Apple to get buyers sucked in and sell new versions.
