- This TV has direct array LED, which is supposed to be good but not onpar with OLED or QLED (samsung).
- Rtings rating here - https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x900h
- Warranty is 5 years directly from Sony (confirmed) and if you have Citi costco card then the warranty is additional 2 years making it 7 years.

The boxes in the warehouse have an additional packet of warranty information attached to the boxes. (At least they do here locally.)
So even though the box is printed with a 3-year warranty on it, the additional information explains the extension of the 3 year warranty to 5 years.
(And yes, if you use the Costco Visa credit card, that tacks on an additional 2 years, making it 7 years total.)
Hope this helps clarify things a bit...

I push the power button on the tv and it only gives me the option to change channels, volume or input although it won't actually change the input
Anyone else get one like this? I'm returning it tomorrow unless I'm missing something?
By the way this is how it's been out of the box

Seems like a good all-rounder that's good price-performance and reliable. Equipped with good true black, great contrast, good HDR brightness, 4k/120hz/HDMI 2.1, great motion, geat upscaling. Not to mention the Costco warranty is worth at least another $200 in value, and with white glove, if something is wrong they can pick it up from our home
We mostly watch movies in dim lit room, YouTube, or other streaming services. I considered other TV
-LG CX OLED - too costly and most of the benefit is dark movie viewing
-LG Nano - was cheaper but the picture quality was lower because of IPS
-Samsung Q7DT - not FALD or 4k120hz, Q8DT is too expensive
-TCL 6 series - I have a TCL with vertile banding issue, which is fine, but the fact that Costco doesn't carry it made it a no-deal
-Hisense H9G - Most convincing competitor but the price is exactly the same but doesn't have 4k120hz. Picture quality is better but probably not noticeable but where as lack of 4k120hz will be. And that Costco doesn't carry this, since it seems to have some quality control issues
-Vizio - lack of 4k/120hz/hdmi 2.1 and lot more expensive than this Sony
This Sony X900H just seems like a promotional TV deal for the launch of PS5 that wouldn't otherwise exist. Funny how watching a ton of youtube video reviews and AVSforum, and SD made the choice for me. At least I don't have to obsess about this anymore till BF ads come out ...

I received my X900H from Costco on Monday. Unfortunately, after mounting I noticed a small cluster of dead pixels. I submitted an replacement request online and already received a new set yesterday. Overall, the process was super easy and quick.
I followed some recommended picture settings using a video on YouTube and tested it out with Ghosts of Tsushima and Warzone. I can say this TV is fantastic. For the price it can't be beat. It almost feels like next-gen is already here

I agree with you, 4k/120hz/hdmi2.1 seems to be the future proof feature to have. The future is here!
Only regret was not being able to convince my wife to splurge on a 75", especially when it was $1500 from Costco during prime day.
