For everyone who keeps questioning the warranty information:

The boxes in the warehouse have an additional packet of warranty information attached to the boxes. (At least they do here locally.)

So even though the box is printed with a 3-year warranty on it, the additional information explains the extension of the 3 year warranty to 5 years.

(And yes, if you use the Costco Visa credit card, that tacks on an additional 2 years, making it 7 years total.)

Hope this helps clarify things a bit...

Sony's pushing it as part of their "PS5 Ready" series and is actually one of the few TV's capable of gaming 4K at 120 Frames...however this tv will not do it out the box until a firmware update Sony has yet to push. It's assumed they'll do it closer to PS5 launch Source: https://www.techradar.com/news/sony-ps5-ready-tv

I mean you bought this way back in July. So you've enjoyed this TV for about 2 months while others patiently waited. Maybe just go to Costco and see if they will price adjust without all the hassles of returning. Cause you returning will just cause your TV to get sent back to Sony and they will then have to sell it as refurbished and then reship it somewhere else to sell. The carbon footprint of all this is huge.

I noticed in a Costco review someone mentioned that the legs have 2 options for installation? Looking to get the 65" but the wide setup does not fit my current entertainment center. Is there a narrow leg instal option?

I really want this! But it is too big for my room. The 55 inch is the same price! 65 way better bang for buck. Do you guys think the 55inch will get a better discount??

Yeah I have had the same thing happening
Fixed mine it seems by going to settings->remotes & accessories->RS232C control->via serial port. Saw it on AVS.

I cannot connect to 5GHz wi-fi network using this TV. Anybody else facing this issue? I have tried factory reset.
Does it connect on 2.4 Ghz ?

Also if have wired ethernet connected it will not connect to wireless...first 3 weeks thought had a problem with the wireless, pulled ethernet cable and connected instantly.

Its past midnight here (EST) and its still at the sale price. What time zone does Costco.com go by? Was planning on picking this up already but sh*t happens.
Any predictions on it going on sale again soon? If not I'll wait until BF or jump on an OLED. Thanks in advance.

Looks like that update is out. My TV did an update yesterday. Should be good to go for next generation gaming systems. Only problem is my Yamaha 7.2 receiver is limited to 4K 60Hz but it doesn't have Dolby Atmos anyway. Expensive year for AV upgrades!

Are you guys hanging the TV by yourself or getting someone to do it?
I hung it myself. I have a console about 4.5ft tall in front of my TV so I put down my heavy sleeping bag on that as insurance if my hands were to slip while trying to hook the brackets screwed into the TV to the wall bracket (the one I bought swings WAY out from the wall to make it that much easier). Didn't even touch the sleeping bag tower! This TV is lighter than my previous 32" Westinghouse Best Buy Black Friday 720P HD set from like 2008 maybe.
