Yeah I think I'm passing because what I've found says 23% or less. I need better than that. Seems like a good price but that's a deal breaker for me.

While not pertinent to this specific model, I just got notification of this for the other Westinghouse DF models

I was specifically looking at the igen models (for the lower THD), but the wgen5300df fell under this recall, so buyer beware.

I am getting this to upgrade from an AllPower 3250 which, I was told, has a similarly high THD. My modem/router use a ups (pure sinewave), Gaming PC, monitor & DVR (tivo) use an approx sinewave ups. Rest of the stuff (LG fridge and kenmore freezer etc) is directly on the wall. Didn't have any issues during the last outage.

I understand everyone's use case is different, but the above listed scenario served me well.
