T-Mobile has posted their store link for the new S20 FE 5G announced today
https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...0214666383

The promotion is on T-Mobile's site here:
https://www.t-mobile.com/content/...spect.html

QA Note: If you don't see the trade-in offer on the above page, then you may need to log into your T-mobile account to see it.

- Buy the S20 FE 5G from T-Mobile on EIP
- Trade in any of the following devices:
Save $500
Apple: iPhone 11, XS Series, XR, X, 8 Series, iPhone 7 series
Samsung: Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note10 series, Galaxy S9 series, Galaxy Note9, Galaxy S8 series, Galaxy Note8, Galaxy S7 series
Google: Pixel 4/4XL, Pixel 3A/3AXL, 3/3XL
OnePlus: 8, 8 Pro, 7T Pro McLaren, 7T, 7, 7 Pro, 6, 6T
LG: V60 ThinQ, G8 ThinQ, G7 ThinQ, V50 ThinQ, V40 ThinQ
- Receive bill credits for $500 for the trade in device.

This promotion is 2020 Oct Samsung GS20 FE $500 with trade - offer t401 for those that want to look into the terms more themselves.

This list of trade-ins is slick as even at full retail the Pixel 3A never sold for $500 and it's been a long time since the Galaxy S7 series was valued that high.

But it gets better.

This deal should be able to be combined with the Hookup Type 3 listed in https://slickdeals.net/f/14326784-20-off-t-mobile-voice-lines-for-the-life-of-the-account-for-new-customers-porting-from-verizon-at-t-or-one-of-their-mvnos-or-200-off-a-5g-phone-for-existing-t-mobile-customers?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1
I will note that the Hookup discount requires that you receive the phone in hand to enter the IMEI number. This discount is currently listed to expire on Sept 30 so there is some risk in chasing it on a device that you are pre-ordering on the 25th and is not supposed to be in stores until Oct 2. Even without this extra deal, $199 is a great price on the device and is how I have the deal listed in the title.

But if you can successfully combine, this is no new line needed, trade in an old phone/find an inexpensive trade in, and use the hookup to get everything back except for the cost of the taxes on the original $699 cost.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Get a $70 Samsung Credit (for pre-orders 9/23 to 10/1). [samsung.com]

When you can trade in your phone directly the store:
  • Regular purchases in the store AFTER the phone has officially launched
Benefits: Less scrutiny on trade ins. Note: I have heard stories of accepted in-store trade in and later denied trade in due to water damage and other issues the employee glossed over
Negatives (for this deal): No one knows when this trade-in deal expires. It could potentially end on Oct 2nd, but hopefully later. If it is still alive on Oct 2nd, get to a store ASAP to purchase it. If the store runs out of stock, youre back at square one and must mail in your trade in.
Loss of $200 hookup discount, potential loss of $70 samsung.com preorder credit.

When you HAVE to mail in trade ins:
  • Preorders in the store
  • Preorders online/phone/chat
  • Orders after launch online/phone/chat
  • Orders (after launch) in store IF that store has run out of stock.
Benefits: $200 hookup discount, $70 samsung.com credit
Negatives: longer waiting period of acceptance of trade in. Higher scrutiny of trade in

please be aware of scams. Be smart. If a random account offers a code but you have to pay them first, don't do it.

Yes, tiny text looks poorer due to the lower resolution and noticeable coming from a s8 through s20. Make sure you are happy with such a screen.

Based on the information from this thread and another community, I created a guide so that more people can hopefully navigate this deal easier and so questions won't be continuously repeated.

Because this will be a living document, I created a Google Doc for ease of updates: https://docs.google.com/document/...sp=sharing

Note: I am not a T-Mobile employee and this is my first-time doing a trade-in with a Hookup code, so I am learning alongside most people here; thus, my guide may not be fully accurate. Feel free to make suggestions for corrections if you notice any mistakes or parts that lack clarity. And if you found my guide helpful, please post a response here just so I know and will continue doing these. Thank you.

I hope this helps,

Since this involves a trade-in, just want to remind folks that you can trade-in in person at a T-mobile corporate location and by doing so, avoid any surprises from mailing in your device
Starting 9/25 get a Galaxy S20 FE 5G for just $200 over 24 months via bill credits when you trade in an eligible device:

Apple: iPhone 11, XS Series, XR, X, 8 Series, iPhone 7 series
Samsung: Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note10 series, Galaxy S9 series, Galaxy Note9, Galaxy S8 series, Galaxy Note8, Galaxy S7 series
Google: Pixel 4/4XL, Pixel 3A/3AXL, 3/3XL
OnePlus: 8, 8 Pro, 7T Pro McLaren, 7T, 7, 7 Pro, 6, 6T
LG: V60 ThinQ, G8 ThinQ, G7 ThinQ, V50 ThinQ, V40 ThinQ

Or get one free via bill credits when you add a line.

THIS STACKS WITH THE $200 HOOKUP CODE! Remember, only one Insider Hookup code per account, whether it's the 20% or the $200. See here for details on that promo. Please do not ask for hookup codes in this post.

Please note: This WILL NOT stack with the free line. The free line ends 9/24, and this phone promo begins 9/25. There is NO WAY to get this phone for free using the free line. Please don't bother support trying to do it.

https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...-s20-fe-5g

Click the magenta text at the top of the page to see the offer for $500 off. Must be logged in to see the offer. To see the "free with add a line" offer, open in incognito. Please note the $500 off page currently says "when you add a line and trade in" but the adding a line part is a typo and not necessary.

Is there any special number you called? Everytime I call TMobile it sounds like I always get an overseas agent, and they don't seem to know much.

So I see the trade in offer no longer shows, it was still up last night but no longer shows today. I know they resurrect these $500 trade in offers quite frequently but there are usually stipulations on which phones qualify, mainly whether or not the Galaxy S7 qualifies. I have an S7 in mint condition sitting around but waiting until I see this offer again so I can trade it in for $500. Hopefully they bring it back yet again over the holidays here with Christmas coming up. This offer was good on several S20 models and not just the FE.

The S21 is just around the corner but with them basically trying to get rid of the Note line I suspect the S21 series will be quite a bit more expensive then even the S20, which was already quite a bit more expensive then the S10 line, and so on. Samsung is going way overboard on their prices. Before long the Ultra will cost $1,750 and a S+ will cost $1,500. Not only that, if leaks are accurate, the S21 and S21+ will get plastic backs instead of glass like on S20, Samsung will not include headphones or a wall charger, the screen will go down in resolution from WQHD+ to FHD+, all with the same camera setup basically as S20. And no doubt they'll charge either as much as S20 or more.

So they cut their cost by downgrading the back to plastic, downgrade screen from WQHD to FHD, ditch included accessories and they won't suddenly charge less money for the S21. Trying harder to force people to fork over the nearly $1,500 for the Ultra I guess, making the regular S20 models "budget" models like the FE but with the same high price as flagships of years past. If this is the case then better off buying the S20 series and/or ditching Samsung for good. Too bad T-mobile reserves all their best offers for the iPhone and all but mostly ignores Android deals with the exception of the BOGO, which is a joke when all you want to do is upgrade a single device.

Same situation here. Trade-in delivered to them 11/3, still no credit and this morning I got a text saying my line is no longer eligible for the monthly credit promo Mad. Immediately called CS, the rep is nice enough to check everything for me, She said she can see it's delivered to the warehouse but it has no record of the trade-in IMEI in the system, that's why the promotion was voided. At the end, she ended up credit me the entire $500 to my account since she said they can't restart the monthly bill credit.

Wow, sounds like their $500 trade in promo was flooded with people taking them up on the offer and in turn they aren't able to keep up. Hopefully they get that figured out so if they resurrect the $500 trade in promo over the next couple weeks people don't get the shaft.

At least CS took care of you and gave you the $500 credit instead of telling you that you're out of luck completely.

Anyone having an issue redeeming the $200 "2020 T-Mobile Insider $200 Off"? Mine is finally approved and sent. I went to click redeem, login my account then it asks for "Reward code". It auto fills with a web link but result in error. It says please contact customer support, but there is no link for the "north lance at wirecard.com". Should I contact t-mobile or Sprint (I'm a sprint user)?
Yes, same issue here (and I am a Sprint customer as well). I was going to try and call the rebate number and hopefully they can help.

I was connected with promo dept at
844-450-7865 and was told they will send to my email in 3-5business days. Not sure if this is true, but you can give it a try.

As of date, I have wasted over 6hrs plus total on the phone at multiple days. My worst rebate experience ever.

Thanks for the number. I spent an hour on with a CS last night when I called. That is a "Sprint" number so they only could confirm that the rebate was approved and "sent". They had me on hold while they reached out to T-mobile to see where it was sent (and hopefully if it can be resent). They were not able to get through to them so they said they would call me back today after they got through. Still waiting for the call...

How is everybody doing on the hookup credits?

One of mine says it was shipped, but with no shipment date. The other was denied pretty much saying that they could only give 1 hookup per account even though I got 2 phones.

Anyone else that tried 2 hookups and got denied too?

BTW, they also messed up with my $500 credit and it was a pain to get it fixed.

So, I just got an update from Sprint. I wouldn't say that I am confident that they figured this out. They said they spoke with Tmobile, but Tmobile can't access my account (yea, we knew that!). So Sprint said they have escalated this and I will receive the rebate link via text message in the next 3-5 days (and by Dec 10).

So, sounds similar to what you heard, and I am not holding my breath that it will happen...

Anybody having problems with their FE? Mine keeps randomly hanging up on me when I'm on the phone and the cameras has failed on me twice. Had to restart phone both times and cameras would work again.

Is this whole "rebate" thing where when you trade in a device, you have to submit a form online to apply for a rebate to get the remainder of the $500, is that a new thing?

I traded in device last year and didn't have to do any of that, the $500 promo was attached to the line and after my trade in device was accepted the promo was automatically applied to my account. I didn't have to go online and submit an application to get a $500 rebate. The $500 credit was in the form of monthly bill credits that show up over 24 months.

I waited a week and called back, the rep repeats the same EXACT crap. She didn't see the ticket being escalated and kept telling me to check my phone for a text. After another 30min on the phone, she has this escalated, and says "She PROMISE I will get it in my email in 24-48hr". The same promise I was told last week I will get it in my email in 2-3 business days. My gut feeling says I will have to call back again.

At this point, I spent/wasted close to 7hrs.
