Just a heads up if you intend on buying this for little children....seeing as it's TMNT and Batman I assumed it was for kids. I should not hav assumed. My kids came running to me in horror after a few minutes after seeing someone with their head lopped off.
Batman vs TMNT is a lot of fun. Easily worth the 99 cent rental.

Lmao. I always laugh when I try to guess how many complaints DC Comics have gotten in recent years from parents. A lot of the animated movies are rated R. Don't let them see Justice League Dark: Apocalypse Wars - superheroes are slaughtered wholesale in that one.

Though I am often hesitant to rent versus buy. At a dollar. It's totally worth it. I mean, how many times do I plan on watching this?
Maybe once a year at most, if it's that good. Or maybe I get the urge to see it again down the line 2 or 3 years from now out of nostalgia. So at $0.99 per viewing/rental, I'd pay something around five bucks.
I think the math leans towards renting versus owning.
I will also mirror prior threads to say that the DC animated movie universe had been a bright spot in quality, writing, artwork, and just plain, pure satisfaction. I'll give my small dollar to support the cause. Perhaps if enough SD'ers do this, it will A) inspire more sales, and B) Perk the attention of some bigwig so that such work will continue to be produced.
