Walmart is selling the Chucky 7 Film Blu-Ray Collection with a digital code for the collection for $39.96. The set without the code has been selling for around $35 or so.
It looks like the same exact packaging as the regular Chucky 7 Film Collection, but there is a Vudu sticker on the front and the code prints on your receipt.
This comes down to $20 without code. Seems expensive
Actually, for someone who wants the code, it's not bad. Vudu's M2D program will let you buy the first Child's Play, Curse, and Cult for $2 each, but 2 & 3, Bride of Chucky & Seed of Chucky are $5 each. So that's $26 right there IF you have access to the bar codes for M2D.
If not you're looking at $14.99 per movie through Vudu with no visible bundle available.
There are codes floating around cheap for Curse & Cult, but the others don't have easily accessible codes on the secondary market.
In order to get the code, you only need the receipt. So you can sell the new/sealed set online for $32 or so like I did. After-tax, I'm looking at paying $11 for 7 movies.
From your comment quoted above, someone may be able to eventually purchase the set without the code for $20, which is fine, if they only want the physical versions. If they want both, this is the better way to go.
I would be happy to find Nightmare on Elm Street & the Halloween sets with outside codes as well, but who knows.
