Because they will make it either impossible to cancel, charge you after cancelling or hound you every week for the rest of your life to resubscribe.

It's a third generation. Just click the link and read the fine print.

ok.. then I think this is not a good deal... it is $20 from Amazon prime (buy 2). For $5, its a pain to create privacy card or to use a credit card then follow up for cancellations...

Meh, it's not THAT bad.

I've been a Sirius customer on and off for almost 10 years. Yes, you have to call to cancel, and they try hard to keep you but if they don't make an offer that makes you want to renew, they do, in fact, let you cancel. I have let the service lapse a few times when I get tired of my usual stations being repetitive, or get tired of having to rehaggle the price down, and it wasn't all that hard to do so.

I'm in this exact scenario as well. I've been on/off since 2012. Have canceled a few times but I always end up going back through some slick deal. The longest that I had to be on the phone to cancel was ~10 minutes, and ~8 of that was waiting on queue.

Not free money. LOL. Some CC companies can generate 1 time use numbers and Privacy.com is a service that can do that for you also.

just use virtual Visa/MasterCard with spending limit set to $15... or use a prepaid credit card with $15 or less in balance
