I've had these (in chrome) for about 4-5 years. Originally got because I was studying for nursing school then my boards and needed to tune noise out. Sound is really good, it's comfortable and battery lasts a good long time even several years later with heavy usage. It is not built for bass, but the highs and mids are excellent. I don't recall using it to talk so idk how the microphone is. I like that you can connect an aux cable to listen without using battery

This one is not comfortable at all. You may need to order a good ear pads separately from them which they sell. It may be better with that but the ear pads that come by default are horrible. I got no issues with the sound quality.

Do these big wireless headphones have a lot of latency? Do they use the aptX LL mode to compensate? I see many people use these for gaming, if they're anywhere near the low quality high lag of the usual BT's without the aptX I can't understand how they stand that

Comfort is an issue for me. The ear pads are tight and long term wear (about an hour) and I need to take them off. Also, over time, there is a clip in the band that comes out. This clip will dig into the top of your head. I sent these headphones (wireless/red) in for warranty repair for this twice. The third time it happened I just bought new headphones. Their infinite warranty allows you to trade in old headphones (at reduced value) for new ones. I tried a different (more expensive) wireless model and they are still uncomfortable after an hour. However, the clip doesn't dig into my head. It is possible that the design issue on the clip has been fixed. (I think my red wireless pair was from 2018, but they look just like the one in this picture.)

They sell larger ear cushions, but they are no different from the ones they come with in terms of quality. I've found them comfortable, they don't really start to wear on my head until hours of use. They are definitely tighter than other brands though, some people may not like that.

I have M100. Super comfortable once you change pads with XL cushion.

I've had these same pair for about four years. The additional pads you can buy make all the difference.

If you have a giant head (like Sputnik) and/or glasses these may not be comfortable for you. I found the clamp too intense. I found these fit similar to the Audio Technica ATH-M50 (which has better sound at a similar price, IMHO).

If you have a giant head like me, I found the Grado i80 to be a good alternative, but it's on-ear. If you want to spend a little more, Beyerdynamic makes the DT770 in closed-back around-the-ear pretty close in price and it's super-comfy.

The problem with these VModas is their plastic cover hinges are not durable. Expect them to break after a year under normal use.

Bought these last year for $95, they're not bad. I had an old pair of V-Moda Crossafe LP's wired ones and compared to my old ones these sound so much better. They have the same sound quality and specs as the VModa M100's which were rated to have one of the best sound quality back in the day. The battery is mediocre, not great not terrible.

I highly advice buying the XL earpads for these as the ones that come with the headphones are really uncomfortable, I could not wear them for 30 minutes straight as the earpad would push down on my ears and they would hurt so bad. They don't ship all their headphones with the XL cushions stock because they make extra money from those earpads. They intentionally sell their headphones with terrible earpads I swear.

PLEASE READ: I'm a low budget audiophile in the sense I've tried some amazing headphone products in the sub $400 category. I've easily tried over 50 headphones ranging from monoprice to audeze. I bought the chrome edition of these awhile back so I know what these sound like. TLDR: you NEED the XL ear pads. I'm sorry if you can handle these stock pads for anymore than 5 minutes you're insane. Even with the XL pads, they're are just so many more comfortable and better sounding headphones for the $130 price range these are after buying the overpriced pads. Do yourself a favor and not buy these overly base heavy cans. They sound alright, but if you care about comfort and sound buy a different headphone.

no aptx.

Ive been on a headphone kick lately, Have bought 4 pair in the last month. They all sound uniquely different and I enjoy them all.

I would like a decent pair of over-the-ear aptx bluetooth wireless. These just wont do.

Any recommendations for Aptx/bluetooth 5?
