Great price on the good tablet. Already bought HD8 from QVC when they were on sale otherwise I'd get that one.

Seems like a great deal when combined with HSN2020 code to get $20 off first order.

Good deal that comes around every couple months.

If you do purchase one, which I highly recommend, sideload google play (5 min - can be found on youtube) or use amazon fire toolbox (15 min - can be found on xda) to turn it into essentially a stock android tablet.

My family has owned nearly every type of Fire tablet the past five years and the current gen 10 is a good one. Keep in mind its a budget tablet, so don't expect ipad pro specs/performance; although for $100, these are a steal especially when compared to the other ridiculously bad budget android tablets floating out there.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

If you plan on installing to toolbox to make it like a stock Android tablet, don't expect it is a true stock Android tablet.
There are still small or big limitations to that depends on your purpose.

I have that on Fire HD 8 from the recent QVC deal and have the toolbox installed. It becomes more like stock Android but not everything works. I found at least.

1. App notification from Google App Store might not work. Facebook messaging works, Skype and Hubitat not. So, you will not receive message or call notifications. It seems to be known issue after posting at xda. If there is an Amazon Store version of the same app, you'd better go with that. So, don't uninstall Amazon Store.

2. Google account setting will not bring up. You can add google account from toolbox but you can't change any setting like what to sync to the tablet like email and contact, they will be always synced.

3. Wechat will not run and it will suspend your account when you go back to other devices saying you used a hacked device. Beware of that if you have people need to communicate using wechat.

Not sure about how it works now...but back in 2014 I got some really great deals on my Kindle Fire HDX "Special Offers"(ad-supported) including
Wallet: Relic Men's Mark Traveler for $5 (normally was like 25-30)
Sandisk Ultra 256GB SSD for $49 (was about 75% off at the time)
So if they continue to offer the good deals I'd gladly take the ad.....
However I sold my HDX some time ago after the "Special Offers" went crappy.
Also I remember in maybe 2016 one of the programmers for those "Special Offers" was protesting in front of the Amazon office...

New raku-ten accounts can also get $30 in cashback. Google it, not going to post referrals on SD.
Look like that one already expired since May 1st?

Hi Friend, where to input the code? I am at the last step of checking out but didn't see any place to use the code.

I just emailed customer service after being a customer of their devices for years, mainly the e-readers, but they just said OK and next thing I knew ads were removed. I dont know how they decide if you get it for free or not.

Nope, it's still there. I did it last week for the other tablet.
