Only prepaid service, postpaid no matter how long you use will NOT help in unlock..unfortunately.
Regular walmart rep. But i went to one walmart where they had no idea how to do it or autopay so i had to leave that Walmart

You had to setup the prepaid plan too right with auto pay and cc for 50 bucks? Cuz the rep i spoke to said he cannot activate and he said you need an appointment with OSL guys who leave at 6 pm ish for the day..and they cN activate the plan..we cannot just buy without plan can we? If we do it will be 350$?

Same. Waste of an hour. I went to a Chicagoland one and they are so incompetent. Said there store can't do phone activations because they didn't know what to do. They originally said wait 3 months for a rebate? Like what?
Also didn't help that the associate was swearing because he was getting confused on how to even ring up the phone.
I honestly hate these Walmart deals. Not even worth the hassle.

What's osl? But the first girl who helped me just worked at Walmart. The third Walmart i tried rang it up and it was $220 with tax. So still not terrible, but again i had just bought 2 for $250 so I walked. He told me to try again tomorrow
Its late and the guy was already swearing saying wth I cannot activate hate how some reps working there are so bad at customer service...phone or not..Walmart customer service sucks big time.
