As per TOC "If you return the device within the allowable return period and have already redeemed the Netflix offer, you will be refunded $49.99 USD (cost of the Chromecast device). If you return the device within the allowable return period and have not redeemed the Netflix offer, you will be refunded the entire amount charged."

So you will be refunded $49.99 even after redeeming a $78 worth of netflix??? Did I read it right?

You get $77.94 of Netflix credit. If you use it on the 1080p plan, that's 6 months. You can use it on the 4k plan but that credit will last you 4.87 months.

Does anyone know if the 6 months have to be used consecutively? Does Netflix allow you to "pause" a redeemed subscription like this?

I don't watch much Netflix and I pay for a month sometimes if there's a show I want to binge.

Reads that way to me. In for one if that's the deal. Personally not interested in the device itself.

Heads up it provides for 6 months of Netflix standard plan. If you have the 4 screen UHD plan, that's not included.
