2032 and 2025 are essential same. except 2032 is thicker.
If it could fit in the place, then you could use 2032 for 2025.

these dont do great in storage, and 12 is really a lot. You are better off just buying 5 now and 5 again in 2-3 years.

As a generalization this is mostly true, the 2032's increased thickness gives a little more life, but many devices have tolerances that the increased thickness just won't fit.

For this group of lithium batteries numeric labeling, the # is formatted as ddtt
dd = diameter in mm (20 = 20 mm)
tt = thickness/height in 10ths of mm (32 = 3.2 mm)

so the 2032 is the same diameter as the 2025 but 0.7 mm thicker or taller.

Yes. I saw these at Fremont CA Costco. It expires 2030 so you can get 10 year shelf life. I already have these batteries; otherwise would have bought them.
