Gosh I'd pay 50$ for a 55-60 wh battery. Everything else looks good, especially with included stylus. Compared to other laptops with this same cpu, I'd expect ~5hrs of battery life.

around 6 hours and in fact slightl over that. Asus Vivobook's TDP setting for the Processor is conservative and the battery saving modes are excellent. So, despite having that 42 WHr battery, runtime is pretty decent. You can get the review of the 4700U model below: -

The screen is the weakest link in 99% Ryzen laptops...as if they've been barred by someone in authority not to use good screens with Ryzens... Just crazy

One review said depending on settings getting 5-7 hours.

Also Best Buy has this for the same price currently, for those who prefer BB. Along with the higher end version.

The display srgb is 47 percent which is absolutely atrocious. It doesn't get very bright only 250 nits. You can't use it outside without squinting. In doors I use it in the basement with mediocre lighting. I often will have it at 100 percent brightness and it is fine to use like that. If you put it flat like a tablet however because of the viewing angles the brightness lower. However the display surprisingly doesn't look washed out like a TN it's just below average

I went ahead with the Ideapad 5 14 with Ryzen 7 4700U, 16GB DDR4 and 512GB SS when it was available at the first time. I did an EPP price match of $720 (Talking to the Lenovo Rep) and got 10% Cash back as well.
That display is also very dull in terms of color gamut coverage and I can feel that every time because almost all my laptops and monitors are 4K and covers 100% sRGB.
However, one thing good about it is the matte screen and around 320 nits brightness and over 1000:1 contrast ratio. That makes it very easy to use in outdoor. I mainly use it for my Office work and the full metal build quality is another plus point.
