They are not expandable. They do look like elite which is expandable.

I have these, these are not expandable. They don't have extra slots to hold on to more plates. These are really good though. Glad I pulled the trigger on woot at 199 late last year.

nice weights, I have them but already reached the 50 lbs limit with my dumbell presses, wish I had gotten the expandable version.
