Lenovo Via Newegg has Lenovo Legion 7i, 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz, i7-10750H, GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q 8GB, 16GB, 512GB SSD, Win 10 Home on sale for $1399.99.
What do you think of this? without ram/ssd and without OS is $1049
I have all my own stuff
Im not a computer wiz so you're better off asking someone more experienced. I wouldnt buy an off brand personally. Theres no reason when you can just wait for a reliable brand from a reliable retailer. Just my $.02

It's not exactly an off-brand, just not that common
youtube reviews seem solid and seems to take on the heat very well
I bought 2 laptops. One legion and one omen. Same 10750h processor yet the legion is notably faster when tabbing out during video games. Not all pc's are made the same despite having the same components. Just my personal experience.

Same experience here. Legion was a clear winner against Alienware and MSI. Desktops are pretty easy to compare spec for spec, but you just can't do that with laptops. All three laptops I tested had identical specs, and there was a 30 percent difference between them in our in-house benchmark due to throttling.
You can try calling costco and speaking to customer service since the price just recently expired. It wasnt that great of a steal at $1399 anyway so 1) they may honor it, or 2) it will likely go on sale soon somewhere again.
Again not that hot of a deal but it's the best price I could find at 17.3" with a 2070 gpu. Its costco so I have 3 months if something better comes up.

Glad I'm not the only one. Im gonna trade this one in for a legion as soon as one w/ a 2070 goes on sale somewhere.

Difference being this one is still on sale and the omen deal expired?
