Not everyone needs 4k. Not everyone wants to pay the premium for 4k. 1080 is fine for 43". Find me a better TV for $120.

I don't think the standard consumer realizes that 4K means nothing unless the product itself is streaming 4K. Hardly any movies are 4K, few games are actually 4K, almost no live tv is ever in 4K. The industry builds all these TVs 4K ready, but 4K isn't here enough yet to even see the difference. Being in the tv and electronics business my whole life, I can tell you that 4K is just a sales pitch at the moment unless you only watch 4K movies and play 4K video games.
