Can anyone make a direct comparison between this and the Fractal Design Focus G that was posted recently? I have the Focus but am looking to upgrade. I've had good experiences with Antec in the past, but I've not bought anything from them recently. At this price, I'm not sure it's actually that much of an upgrade. Thanks.

? Is there anything missing on your current case? If so, does the new case fix that? Cases are cases. Looking for better air flow? Unless you're totally unhappy with your current case then it's just a waste of money to buy another one.

I think the issue is with the giant panel in front blocking all airflows, vs the Mesh front on the Focus G
It's 2020 and still so hard to find a case with usb-c on the front panels
Is there a good reason why they need one? Genuinely curious since I'm in the market. Out of all the USB-C cables I have, all but one have a USB-A on the other end.

USB-C has gotten to the point of being more convenient than USB-A IMO. It's nice to have the flexibility at least. For example, if you're into photo/video, a USB-C SD card reader works with your (android)phone/laptop when you're on the go, would be great if you could also plug into your desktop without a dongle. With the current trend of minimalist front panels, you can't even add these front ports yourself.

We're not quite there yet. USB-C is just the form factor, there are tons of standards that supply different amounts of voltage mobos don't want to provide front panel with.

Understood, but I still don't ever see myself missing that port.

The Focus G has a Mesh front with 2 intake fans and an acrylic side panel. The tempered glass on this case is nice but with that solid front it will have terrible air flow witch will lead to terrible thermals. Focus G has will have much better thermals

If you want a USB type C on a case's front panel, your going to have to pay more than $50 in most cases. Most reputable brands with New cases in the $80 plus will have usb type c.
top bevel has a gap much like the Phanteks and Thermaltake models
bottom gap similarly allows plenty of front air

I'd probably go with the Fractal. I don't know a ton about this case but Antec is generally a bit behind when it comes to cases these days. I think this review of the P8 is probably still applicable - a budget case with poor stock ventilation. It sounds like the $50-60 area is where it should sit.
