I just "reloaded" balance for $40. Not a "gift card" persay. Does this still qualify? How long until my balance is updated with the $10 promotion?
I think it does. I reload through the link and received the credit after 24hrs.

To combine this with Amex $10 credit back on $100 offer, can we put a $60 gc with the $40 at the same time to get the Amex credit as well as this $10 from Amazon?
you can make multiple orders / transactions, as many times on many things you like, as long as they add up to $100 on Amex, ull get the $10 credit. Then repeat that, max $10 x 2 Amex credits

Tried it twice, once on phone and once on laptop, both times didn't work.
I clipped the coupon, but did not get a place to enter the code at checkout.
I didn't get the message about the $10, I'm giving up... customer service was useless.

Came right at the 24hr mark for me as others did. The credit worked on New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, brining the total to and effective $27 plus tax (considering you get 3$ worth of gold coins for digital purchases from the eShop). Thanks OP!

On the desktop, after claiming the coupon, a banner confirmed the eligibility of $10 GC at checkout. It didn't take the coupon code though. So just hoping to get it anyway.

Guys, we've been scammed by Amazon. The "promotional credit" has restrictions:

* The promotional credit only applies to products and digital content sold by Amazon.com or Amazon Digital Services LLC (look for "sold by Amazon.com" or "sold by Amazon Digital Services LLC" on the product or content detail page) and all eBooks made available through Amazon.com. Products and digital content (except for eBooks) sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities, including Prime Now LLC, will not qualify for this offer, even if "fulfilled by Amazon.com" or "Prime Eligible".

* The promotional credit may not be applied towards the purchase of products sold by, or under the brands of third parties, or sold through third-party areas of Amazon.com.
scam?..these promotions are nearly always for items sold by amazon, not 3rd parties.

This is how ALL Amazon promotion has worked.

I misread the "applies to products and digital content" as only applying to digital content.
