Everyone keeps commenting about HDMI 2.1 because it's the new technology in the next generation of consoles but the actual real world use of this technology and gaming is years away. If you have any experience with PC gaming and see that not even the highest level Nvidia 2000 series GPUs can sustain a frame rate of 4K 120 there is absolutely no way consoles will be hitting that anytime soon and even then not consistently. The truth of the matter is in my opinion the Sony A8H will provide the best overall picture quality right here and now when you take into account upscaling of content. Gaming features that we won't see until a few years from now shouldn't be the determining factor right now. Just my two cents.

FYI, Look up Sony's TV's sound/volume issues. I have a 950G and have sound/volume issues and Sony is aware of the issue but has failed to provide solution. Not to say these sets will have issues but needless to say but I regret my purchase and won't be buying any Sony TV's.
Ouch, Sorry to hear that 2Quik,
I couldn't tell but it sounds like this is an issue even if you are sending sound from the TV to an AV Receiver?
