Everyone keeps commenting about HDMI 2.1 because it's the new technology in the next generation of consoles but the actual real world use of this technology and gaming is years away. If you have any experience with PC gaming and see that not even the highest level Nvidia 2000 series GPUs can sustain a frame rate of 4K 120 there is absolutely no way consoles will be hitting that anytime soon and even then not consistently. The truth of the matter is in my opinion the Sony A8H will provide the best overall picture quality right here and now when you take into account upscaling of content. Gaming features that we won't see until a few years from now shouldn't be the determining factor right now. Just my two cents.
Ok, got me thinkin'. I see an extended warranty but does anyone have experience with BuyDig. I've heard of them but I learn a lot from the SD fam. Thanks
Damn I'm torn! CX or this! I do game but usually use my 1440p monitor. Is this tv clearly better than the cx?! Or are they mostly equal? Sony's always look awesome in stores
Hahaha. My exact thought!!! But then I saw the model number.
What's wrong with the X900H? It's a hell of an amazing picture with FALD and has gotten great reviews, especially for the price. Certainly not OLED quality but very very good nonetheless.

I've only made a single purchase from them myself, they had a deep discount on a 34" alienware monitor a few years back (around $700 iirc) that I rolled the dice on. Shipped fast and in great shape; I'd buy from them again if need be.

FYI, Look up Sony's TV's sound/volume issues. I have a 950G and have sound/volume issues and Sony is aware of the issue but has failed to provide solution. Not to say these sets will have issues but needless to say but I regret my purchase and won't be buying any Sony TV's.
I have a 950G with no sound issues. Update your 950G to the 950H firmware....that seemed to fix it for a lot of people and basically make your 950G a 950H (same internals)
This appears to be a great set, nearly rivaling their more expensive Master Series, but if you are considering these OLEDs be sure to research the eARC handoff issues, primarily from TV based apps.
