Target currently has 10% off video game item plus 5% if you use RedCard is a $28.10 discount on this item.

$219.99 - $28.10 discount = $191.89 plus tax

Note this is a pre-order and will ship near November 10th.

I purchased this using the Target App, not the website. Also make sure you apply the 10% off video game coupon before checking out.

First post, please be gentle.

Except you're forgetting the fact that this is a new NVME SSD format that is expensive period. It is not comparable to other HDD and SSDs currently on market.
It really isn't though.
Not really. You can't get a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD for $100. That said, you can get one for $180 so yeah this is kinda high. I wish Xbox would just use industry standard internal storage like PlayStation does ... that's my only hardware gripe against them.

Also, at least you can get expanded storage for the XS; Sony still hasn't released the SSD compat list for the PS5.

Solid find for those shopping for one. Though I am planning to use standard 3.2 drive for now. Did it work? Often pre-orders are not eligible for these types of coupons.

I placed the order yes and received confirmation email.

219.99 - 10% coupon & 5% for RedCard ($28 off) = $191.99 before tax.

That price is still insane for 1TB worth of space.

Yeah they are high AF to charge $220 for this. It's $100 all day long in almost all other forms.
It really isn't though.

A tad too expensive for a game storage for xbox only.
No other usage besides storing game for 200 dollars.

While this device is expensive, this is a good deal for a new product. Thanks and great job on first post!

The 10% off is not showing up when I go to checkout. Only the 5% off for Redcard. Might be dead already.
