also to clarify further, you can stack subscriptions. If you're worried about it being up in Jan/Feb, you can add it now and it will add 12mo on to the end date of your current sub.

For PS+ subscription? They don't usually have these on "sale" for BF. Even if they did, the retail price is $60 so they might lower it to $50. You'll never get anywhere near $30.

YMMV, sometimes they do not work if sitting for more than 30-60 days. I always try to activate ASAP

Stupid question but will my current subscription, and anything added to it, transfer to the PS5?

I was able to pre order so I don't want to spend money if the subscription won't transfer from one system to the next.

For PS4 and presumably PS5, you need this to go online in most games. I *think* F2P games don't require it but I'm not sure about that. Other 'perks' of PS+ are 10 GB of cloud storage for your game saves, the ability to download updates while the console is asleep, and two "free" games per month. You can play the games as long as your subscription is active.

They do have them on sale every Black Friday (most retailers). It's just never been "so cheap" because it's only been in the past few months that PS+ prices have been bottoming out like crazy with the next gen transition (or whatever is causing the huge drop in price). In particular, I'm sure that Cdkeys will offer an extra Black Friday discount which may be a dollar or two better than the best price so far.

Has anyone had an experience with saving one of these for a bit?

I haven't activated it yet, just bought it. I plan on activating it in early November, a few days before getting my PS5 so that I can get everything situated before I get the new console.

If for some reason it's deactivated or something, will CDKeys replace it?

Figured I'd weigh my options. I really don't want to waste a month as I've already got all of the games included in PS+ for this one, but I also don't want to lose on the entire year if for some reason CDKeys doesn't come through.
