What it looks like when your account is:

Eligible
Ineligible
For Amazon promotions that require the usage of points, you do not need to use all your points in order to trigger the discount at checkout - using only one single point is enough.

Do note that this was originally posted on 07/28/2020. However, I personally am not marking this as a repost because my account was not eligible then, but is eligible now.

Banner says $60 minimum. However, fine print says $50.

Amazon has in some way blocked me from all these kind of credit card/debit card offers. Haven't seen a single one this whole year. Sucks!

I was going to do this until I realized that you don't get the same credit when spending on Amazon as you get when redeeming for cash. I think $50 worth of points on Amazon could have been redeemed for about $60 cash... I guess if they give you $15 off your still coming out ahead but not that slick of a deal.

To take advantage of these promotions, don't you just use $0.01 worth of points to make the promotion kick in? You don't use all your points

The trick is to only redeem part of your points to get the $15 off Smilie You can redeem as little as you want, and pay the rest with the card. I used $0.11 of my points and paid for the rest of it with my card, getting the $15 off and getting 1% cashback on remainder of purchase amount.
