Will this fit in a Honda CR-V? Or would I need a pickup truck?

Outside of bigger size, is this better than 2016 65ks8000?

Box dimensions are 40.7 height, 7.5 width and 68.7 deep, so I'd measure your car first for clearance.

I wonder if a few years from now, we'll see 85" TVs for under 1K????

In for this one. I had some $10 off codes from buying the Apple $100 gift cards last month... so no tax?

I am wondering the exact same thing. Here are the differences that I can find. The model for sale today has a direct lit panel, the 6900 has an edge lit panel. From what I understand the crystal panel on the sale TV is sorta like a QLED panel but without the quantum dots. (but it is not a QLED TV) The 6900 does not have the crystal panel which explains the power consumption difference. It is more of a conventional LCD panel. The sale TV accepts HDMI version 2.2 the 6900 is 2.0 compatible. The 6900 supports Apple screen mirroring. The sale TV does not.

I ordered the sale TV even though I got the 6900 just recently. I will return whichever one that I like the least. I don't care about just 2 HDMI ports. 2 is great since I use a home theater receiver that handles HDMI switching.

Just remember that you should try to save the box to the 6900 if you decide to order this TV and return your original purchase. The serial number on the box should match the serial number on the TV. I was told this by a best buy employee when returning a different TV. YMMV on this.
Thanks for the reply, I'm going to order this and if it's better I'll return the open box and keep this one.

Can someone please tell me if this model is better than the un70tu6900fxza? I just bought that one open box from Best Buy yesterday for $539.99, now I see this brand new for $529.99
There is no such thing as a TU6900. You mean NU6900 Which is a 2018 model TV. Check the comparison I listed to see difference between TU7000 (which is basically same as this model we are talking about in the thread called the TU6980) And NU6900 you bought

Sorry to say but most of what you said above is wrong or not helpful. But you made right choice to buy this and compare which is better then return the other one.

No it's not, KS8000 still packs a punch. The TU series models don't compare to high end Samsung's still, you would need to go at least Q60 to get something comparable picture quality wise to KS8000

This is the 6 series, they also have the 7 series for $70 more. Is the upgrade from 6 to 7 worth that price? Both are under $600

The one in the ad is the 2020 model which matches the one that sams have (model UN70TU700DFXZA) for $600.

The older one that you linked has a better picture better blacks / contrast. It has apple screen mirroring.

Newer one has better lag (better for gaming), amazon alexa support, NO apple screen mirroring and worse overall image.
