My Verizon SIM is empty.

Edit:
1. I am using a BYOD unlocked iPhone.
2. Return was easy: a return shipping label was provided right after filing a refund claim.
3. Don't forget to leave a *negative* feedback on eBay for the seller!
So you figured out the SIM was empty before switching over to it? I am using the new empty SIM now, so I can't return it unless I do another switch to my old SIM :-(.

I just asked the chat rep to switch back to my old SIM (need to provide the old SIM number), and then mailed the bad SIM back.
Ah, that's smart, now I have to chat them again to switch back, darn! Should have asked them to switch back on the spot.

What did you enter when prompted IMEI? It wouldn't accept if I enter my current phone.
Only the MEID DEC worked for me.

Question guys. I bought that moto e6 model from amazon for $20. Still haven't opened or activated. If this deal should come around again and I buy the sim, will this work as a year of service then can ask for unlock?

This procedure worked for me. I have a locked tracfone on Verizon and the transfer went smoothly. Did take about 12 hours for the process to complete. Left the old SIM in until the phone quit working then placed the new SIM in and the process was complete. Applause
did the service get extended 1 year right away or did it take 12 hours also?

I made a mistake of not asking whether the SIM was pre-loaded or not (my previous purchases were good).

The chat rep switched the SIM and then told me it was empty. I just asked him/her to swicth my old SIM back.

I chatted them again and it was pretty easy this time. I am on my old SIM now so I can return the empty one.

Does tracfone wireless eBay account ever respond to messages? If not, I am going to request a refund.
Yes, I messaged them and they got back to me the same day.

Service extended 1 year right away but accumulated minutes and texts did not change. Then had to wait for the transition to new SIM and at that time saw minutes and texts had been added.

Ok, let's see if I have this straight.
I bought a TF phone at Best Buy last Friday to use with this deal ($45) It was just the phone and did not come with an airtime card, just a red pamphlet with the IMEI and SIM card numbers.
Got this deal to use as the talk/text/data. Came quick, but when trying to activate the phone, it is asking for a PIN number for the phone plan. Isn't this the phone plan?? There IS no PIN included in the package, just the SIM card. Not making much sense to me.

The plan PIN is the other number in a box on the card (other than the SIM card number.)

Again, preloaded sims DO NOT include a separate pin!

When sim is activated plan should load to the account - IF the sim is properly preloaded. Sometimes they aren't which is why I keep stressing for people to call TF support & have them check first.

These are meant for BYOP unlocked phones & TF locked phones most likely will not activate, they need to use the sim that's included in the phone.
It's possible support may be able to do it for you but don't be surprised if they won't, might take several calls to find person willing to help.

Yeah, there was no PIN any where in the manilla envelope this arrived in. It was just a TF fold out square box (don't know how to describe it), with a big, folded paper TF terms & conditions paper glued to the middle. The top, bottom, left and right sides of the box fold out.

Anyways, I was able to finally activate it after 2 different chats and 2 different phone calls. They had me insert the original SIM back into the phone, and transferred the minutes/texts/data onto the phone and all is working. Unfortunately, they only credited me with 1200MB of data. (The rep actually said "Oh, you got the 1200minutes, 1200texts, 1200MB data plan for $60" and I said "No, I got 1200/1200/3GB for $30" and he goes "Nooo... it's 1200MB") Whatever, it's for my 76 year old father, he isn't going to use that much data and the phone works, so.... ?

Glad you got it to work, for the price it's a good deal but it should be 3 gb data.
