I can't emphasize this enough everyone...the tube slide is a fan favorite for the kiddos and an absolute pain in the butt to put together. I still have a scar on my thumb.
Pro Tip, zip ties. Zip tie several of the hole alignments together to keep the tube from shifting so much as you assemble. Took about 2 hours to connect three pieces together. Then tried zip ties...20 minutes for the last 2 pieces.
We bought this set last year at this price and are very happy with it. We had it professionally installed since all the reviews were about how difficult it was to put together. It was worth it because the kids are on it constantly and I'm really happy with the quality of the set. Tube slide does seem to attract spiders though, so be aware you'll be clearing that out regularly during the summer.

I bought this set on the clearance deal last year as well. The shipment was broken down into 5 smaller shipments and unfortunately they lost 1 of those shipments. I was told that I could get a 20% refund due to losing 20% of the shipment OR that I would have to return everything. After doing some digging I discovered my missing shipment was the straight slide only. I got the $150 refund and bought a $75 slide from Menards.
I assembled everything by myself. This took about an entire Saturday but in the end I was successful. Easily the most challenging aspect was the tube slide, absolute nightmare.
After more than a year it is still doing extremely well. My only point of caution and consideration is the overall size. 48" is great for my kiddos now, however I do imagine needing to repurpose some of the equipment with a larger set. Tube slide alone is $300+ and can easily be mounted on other sets.
I have 2 and and a 5 year old do you think it's worth spending at that age .. please advice
When I purchased I purchased the set for a 3.5 year old and a newborn. My children are now 2 and 5 and play on this all of the time. My daughter is pretty tall for 5 and has no issues on the playset. Based on what I have seen it still has many years left. Additionally, many of the equipment pieces, slides, swings, etc could easily be transferred to another playset in the future. My intention is to upgrade in a few years to a basic set and then repurpose many of the pieces to make it a bit more elaborate!

Don't tease. Give us the dirt on your clearance price.
When I made the purchase it was $699.99. I got another 20% off due to the lost slide shipment so that knocked it down another $140. I did replace the slide with a standard 4 footer from Menards which was around $75. All things considered, around $635 with tax and free shipping.
Based on that thread it did appear that I was not the only one to lose some shipments along the way...still shocked they lost a 5 foot box. Happy to lose that box that was easy to replace than to lose one of the boxes that held the slide or all the wood.
Hey this looks almost like the Costco set, at this price point it's a good deal. I spent approximately 40 hrs over the course of 4 months to build mine LOL. 4/5 would recommend hiring someone to do it, tho now that I know what I'm doing I'd probably DIY again if I had to build another set

Depends on where you intend to place it. I ended up building a playground enclosure with the rubber pellets and used landscape fabric to eliminate all the extra weeds and etc. Additionally I found some pretty slick rubber 16"x16" landscape blocks that I placed on the inside to give it a more "floor" like feel.
Nonetheless, I'd definitely recommend either killing off everything underneath, allowing it to be as is, or be pretty handy with a trimmer to get into all the corners.
